(Clearwisdom.net) On June 11, 2005, the day before the 2005 European
Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference, practitioners from all over Europe
came to Stockholm to participate in various activities promoting Falun Gong, and
let people know more about the peaceful practice and the vicious persecution
taking place in China.
Ten years ago, merciful Master Li Hongzhi came to Europe. He taught Falun
Gong in Sweden, gave practitioners advice for cultivation, and brought a good
future to Europe. Today, ten years later, Falun Gong practitioners gathered to
bring the goodness of Falun Gong to the people of Stockholm again and also to
tell people about the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of
Falun Gong. They hope to arouse people's consciences and the support of society
so as to help end this brutal persecution as soon as possible.
In the afternoon some practitioners gave a performance in Stockholm city
center. The European Heavenly Beauty Dancing team performed their traditional
"Lotus Flower Praising," "Spinning Falun," as well as some
newly arranged dances. Peaceful music and graceful exercise demonstrations
encouraged many passersby to stop and watch. People were delighted to accept
leaflets about Falun Gong and paper-folded lotus flowers made by Falun Gong
practitioners. Some people even followed practitioners to learn the exercises on
the spot.
