Corrupt Police Officers Receive Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Gong

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Four People from the Judicial Section of Shuangyashan City Police Department, Heilongjiang Province Die in Car Accident

On June 1, 2005, a car accident occurred near Farm #852 in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province. All four passengers, three men and one woman, died in the accident. They were all from the judicial section of the Shuangyashan City Police Department.

Some of the people in the area guessed that the four accident victims might have received karmic retribution because they were on their way to deal with Falun Gong issues. Others noted that the judicial section had only five employees and that four of them had died at the same time. They thought that the managers of the section might now have a problem. However, a policeman said, "Why should they worry? Now they have four positions to sell to the highest bidder, which will make them a fortune."

A Policeman from Qinhuangdao City Police Department, Hebei Province Receives Karmic Retribution and Dies

Li Fengyi, a 39-year-old policeman from the Highway Department, died of sudden heart attack in early March 2005.

After the persecution of Falun Gong began, Li Fengyi became notorious for his cruelty among the local policemen and with the associated labor camps. Many people witnessed how he used torture to interrogate Falun Dafa practitioners, who ended up with bruises all over their bodies, and thought that he was exceptionally cruel. One Falun Dafa practitioner was so seriously injured that he could no longer walk. Many Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to his illegal interrogation techniques or had their homes ransacked by him. Therefore, his sudden death caused other policemen involved in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners to pause and consider that good will be rewarded with good and evil will draw karmic retribution. As a consequence, they became more restrained in their behavior.
