Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Jiabin Dies from Toxic Drug Injections

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Li Jiabin was a resident of Ganzi Village, Peng Town, Shuangliu County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. On August 18, 2004, the local authorities arrested him and sent him to the Shuangliu Detention Center, where he was tortured for 4 months. Then they sent him to the No. 1 People's Hospital and tortured him. They injected him with drugs and beat him for half a month. As a result, Mr. Li's mental clarity was shattered and his entire body became swollen. He died on May 26, 2005.

Mr. Li Jiabin began to cultivate Falun Dafa in 1998. He persisted in his cultivation and clarified the truth. For that, he was arrested many times by the local 610 Office. The perpetrators illegally detained him and beat him. In August 2002, when Mr. Li was promoting Dafa and clarifying the truth to people in Ziyang County, the police arrested him after someone had reported on him. The authorities detained him for a month in the Chengdu Detention Center before sentencing him to 18 months of forced labor. Mr. Li was then detained in Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang City. After he was released, persecutors of the Peng Town government and Peng Town Police Station arrested him again in August 2003. They detained him in Zhengxing Brainwashing Center in Shuangliu City until the end of year 2003.

In mid-June 2004, staff of the local 610 Office ransacked his home and arrested him again. This time they detained Mr. Li in a detention center and a brainwashing center for over 4 months, where they tortured him cruelly. As a result, Mr. Li's mind and body was seriously hurt, and he became extremely weak. The perpetrators then sent him to the No. 1 People's Hospital in Shuangliu County, where they constrained Mr. Li with handcuffs and shackles to a bed. Then, they injected a toxic drug three times a day. Because of the drug, Mr. Li's mental faculties were severely compromised, and his entire body became swollen. He could not even stand up.

Before the Spring Festival in 2005 (around January or February 2005), the perpetrators released Mr. Li for medical treatment. After he returned home, Mr. Li was bedridden. He could only walk (even a few steps to the bathroom) with help from his family members. In May 2005, his genital organ (which was injured from the torture) festered and pus was excreted. He passed away on May 26, 2005.
