Taiwan: Minghui School Holds Summer Camp (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From July 4-8, 2005, the first week of summer break, Hualian Minghui School organized a variety of activities for more than 20 teenagers. During the five-day summer camp, the children read Lunyu and Hongyin, and Falun Dafa books and articles. They also learned the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, sang songs composed by practitioners, and attended art sessions (playing flute, making bookmarkers, and studying the profound meaning of Chinese characters).

The "Beauty of Lives" short course taught the children to treasure lives and express themselves. "Cultivation Stories" time related stories of Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners and Mainland practitioners who are being persecuted. The abrupt contrast of the cultivation environment in Taiwan and Mainland China also remind the little practitioners to cherish the free cultivation environment.

After the summer camp, all parents reported positive changes in their children and commended the Minghui school. They hope that this land of purity will continue to grow and serve so that more people with predestined relationships will come to Falun Dafa.
