Practitioner Mr. Liang Xiujun from Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, Died of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liang Xiujun from Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, died under both mental and financial persecution on June 17, 2005.

Mr. Liang Xiujun, 55 years old, lived on Fifth Street in the Shuangta District of Zhuozhou City. He was unyielding in his practice of Falun Dafa and clarified the truth to the people he met. He was arrested and detained multiple times and went through brainwashing between 2001 and 2003. At the Nanma Brainwashing Center, he was forced to do heavy labor and had money extorted from him. Due to the brutal torture, he was paralyzed when he returned home.

In 2003, Mr. Liang's wife, Wang Shumin, was detained for 15 days in Zhuozhou City Detention Center for clarifying the truth to people. She was held in Nanma Brainwashing Center for more than 40 days. She was forced to undergo brainwashing sessions and do heavy labor. She also had three thousand yuan extorted from her.

Under such heavy mental and financial pressure, Mr. Liang's conditions quickly worsened. He died on June 17, 2005.

Another Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Li Heng from Yongle Village in Zhuozhou City, was tortured in Baoding City Labor Camp. He had a stroke as a result of the persecution. Mr. Li Heng died on June 12, 2005, after being paralyzed for three years.
