Six Year of Trials and Tribulations Lead to Glory for Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) My heart is filled with admiration whenever I think about the difficult journey Falun Gong practitioners have traveled in the past few years.

The indisputable fact is that Falun Gong was and still is confronted with the most ruthless, wicked and villainous totalitarian regime on earth, a regime that in the past five decades appeared invincible. Any individual or organization deemed as enemy by the CCP would be ruthlessly attacked through slander and violence and would disappear within a few days without a trace.

Falun Gong changed this.

After six years of persecution, Falun Gong, instead of collapsing under pressure, has been disseminated ever more widely.

Prior to July 20, 1999, Falun Gong was introduced to over 30 countries. Falun Gong is now being practiced in nearly 80 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, South America and North America. Practitioners can be found in destitute parts of Africa, the war-torn Middle East, in monotheism-dominated regions that expel outside beliefs, and also in countries that used to exercise dictatorship. The all-out persecution by the CCP has failed to cast even the most remote shadow on the brilliance of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance."

Dr. Franz Susman, Professor for Catholic Church History in Austria said, "The Falun Gong spiritual movement today is the biggest hope for mankind, because these teachings and life are in harmony."

Governments and other people around the world have widely acknowledged the Falun gong practitioners' peacefulness, improvement of their moral character and courage to uphold their belief. Topics involving Falun Gong frequently arise at United Nations meetings, government hearings and academic forums. Numerous interferences from the CCP have ended in failure. At this juncture, Falun Gong has received over 1,300 proclamations, over 100 supportive resolutions and over 1,000 supportive letters from around the world. Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for four years straight. A university professor wrote, "The calm and kind actions of Mr. Li Hongzhi and his students surprised the world. His students inside and outside China persisted in upholding justice and human rights with peaceful means despite the cruel persecution."

Falun Gong practitioners' truth clarification thoroughly defeated CCP's tried-and-true methods of slander, suppression, intimidation and isolation.

The number of Falun Gong practitioners in China rose steadily and the book Zhuan Falun, printed by the practitioners themselves, has often fallen short of demand. In the past six years, Falun Gong practitioners provided the world's people with opportunities for salvation through tremendous sacrifice and sometimes at the cost of their lives. They spread the truth about Falun Gong and persisted in their noble belief in "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance", and have destroyed the perpetrators' attempts to annihilate Falun Gong. Practitioners who took a detour from the path of cultivation later stepped forward again to oppose the persecution. According to statistics published on the Minghui website, more than 276,200 Falun Gong practitioners have published solemn declarations since 2001. The CCP's system of violence and brainwashing that has been in operation for over 80 years collapsed when used on Falun Gong practitioners.

In order to end the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have filed 19 lawsuits in 16 countries against Jiang Zemin, the head perpetrator responsible for the persecution. They are the first to file lawsuits in more than one country against a dictator while he was still in power, which shows their courage, capability and wisdom. They have also filed another 22 lawsuits against CCP officials who were pro-active with Jiang Zemin in the persecution, and more than 47 lawsuits are now pending. A group of 35 lawyers in 29 countries represent the practitioners in these lawsuits. The largest TV station in New Zealand reported, "These legal actions are the largest international human rights litigations since World War II."

Increasing support for Falun Gong comes from grassroots levels now. Falun Gong groups constantly break through CCP infiltration of overseas communities and hold numerous activities that are embraced by foreign governments and the people. In bustling and usually indifferent Manhattan, Falun Gong practitioners have been clarifying the truth for one year, including in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Due to their persistent efforts, many more people have come to learn the truth.

More people in China are opposing the persecution. Recently, villagers in several Chinese provinces resisted the abduction of Falun Gong practitioners. One village official said to the police and 610 Office officials, "The Falun Gong practitioners in our village are the best people! You can't take any of them!" The perpetrators left without achieving their goal. Because of Falun Gong practitioners' worldwide truth clarification efforts, the "610 Office" in many cities has changed its name and the CCP denies the existence of this terrorist organization. The total collapse of the "610 Office" and the failure of this persecution are inevitable.

The evil CCP is disintegrating. Many reporters who wrote slanderous articles about Falun Gong, and police officers who persecuted Falun Gong have expressed regret at their past behavior. The details of some persecution cases have been exposed by police officers who have learned the truth about Falun Gong. According to a source in China, some CCP officials are now collecting documents that prove they were forced to carry out orders from the "610 Office." Some high-level "610 Offices" have issued urgent internal orders to recall documents and materials related to the persecution from "610 Offices" below the county level.

In June 2005, four former CCP officials defected to Canada and Australia, exposing various aspects of the persecution of Falun Gong. These people were shocked by the extent of brutality in the persecution and were moved by the kindness and the practitioners' indomitable spirit. They no longer wanted to be a part of the CCP.

Mark Palmer, Vice-chairman of the human rights organization Freedom House in the USA said, "I want to say in all seriousness that I believe your movement, the Falun Gong, is the movement which will define our time at the beginning of the 21st Century. I think when people look back they will say, "Oh yes, there was Gandhi, there was the American Civil Rights movement, there was Solidarity, and then there was Falun Gong. There was a movement that came out of China that defined its era, and ultimately it was successful."

It's amazing that Falun Gong could last this long while persisting in anti-persecution efforts. It's also amazing that it has lasted this long when confronted with the CCP, the largest mechanism of despotism in human history. It's amazing that the practitioners have remained peaceful and rational in their anti-persecution efforts. It's amazing that the practitioners has broken through the CCP's iron blockade wall within only a few years, and that they helped so many people learn the truth and ultimately overcome the persecutors.

From any perspective, Falun Gong practitioners have changed the course of history and created miracles with their unshakable resolve to practice Truth - Compassion - Tolerance and to persistently clarify the truth. All this will be recorded in history books.
