The Wonder of Dafa: My Grandson's Fractured Bone Heals Instantly

(Clearwisdom.net) In addition to taking care of his students, Teacher has bestowed compassion upon their families. The following incident happened on June 15, 2005. My grandson, a second grader, fell while he was leaving school around 5 p.m. and it was raining hard. This fall caused a serious bone fracture in the ankle. His epiphysis plate was torn and the soft tissue separated.

My son called and told us that the doctor said that our grandson's condition would affect his growth, because the epiphysis plate had something to do with the growth of bone. Due to the seriousness of the injury, the hospital might not be able to cure it. My son wanted us to go to the hospital to discuss how to handle this matter.

I wasn't stirred much emotionally after hearing this bad news. Calmly, I comforted our son and told him we would be there soon. After putting down the phone, I analyzed and calmly pondered the situation. I realized from the standpoint of the Fa, it wasn't an accident. It must be a trick played by the dark minions of the old forces in other dimensions. During the crucial stage of the Fa-rectification, they are playing tricks on the families of Dafa practitioners. On the surface, they used the excuse to test whether Dafa practitioners had given up the attachment to sentimentality. But actually they were trying to waste our energy and stir up our minds to interfere with our validating the Fa and saving sentient beings. It also tried to stir up our ordinary people's mindset and drag us down.

"Just by remaining unmoved you could handle all situations." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Canada Fa Conference") I firmly believed Teacher would be able to cure my grandson's injury. My son called and said with a weeping voice: "Our child will be crippled. What can we do?" I comforted him: "Don't worry. Nothing is going to happen. I'll be there shortly." Two of us hurried to the hospital in the rain.

While my son was looking at the x-ray film with his friend at the hospital, my grandson was sitting on a chair in the hallway, twisting his body and swaying his head. He looked pale and he was trembling and sweating incessantly. He looked like he was in excruciating pain, but he didn't make any sound. People around commented: "This child is very strong; even an adult couldn't sustain such pain." My grandson saw us and was about to cry. I said to him, "Don't cry. It won't solve any problem. I know your bone fracture is very serious. Doctors said they may not be able to treat you here and they don't have confidence they'll be able to cure you to a perfect condition. But my Teacher will help you. Falun Dafa will help you. You just keep reciting 'Falun Dafa is good' right now. You need to keep reciting it wholeheartedly and don't divert you attention. Recite with a strong mind and you'll be cured. A miracle will happen to you." My grandson began to recite, "Falun Dafa is good." I told my wife: "Sit down. Let's recite it together to help him eliminate the evil in other dimensions."

About 5 to 6 minutes later, our grandson's painful expression disappeared. His complexion became normal and he could sit still. He said, "I am not in pain any more. It's a miracle." I told him: "Don't say anything. Just keep reciting it and don't stop."

All of a sudden, a warm current flowed through my entire body. I knew that Teacher's Fashen was nearby. He gave me strength, encouraged me, and hinted to me that he had reset my grandson's bone and had stopped his pain. Every thing went back to normal. I felt so grateful to Teacher that my eyes welled up with tears. I thought to myself: Great Teacher, you are so compassionate towards your disciples. My grandson wasn't even a practitioner and didn't believe in Dafa. You healed his injury and made him safe. You are so compassionate. As I thought about this, I couldn't help shedding tears again.

By this time, my son, who wasn't a Dafa practitioner, had talked to the hospital top management, including the head and deputy head of the hospital, the head of orthopedics, and other specialists. They discussed the strategy on how to treat my grandson.

I was thinking then that since our Teacher had healed our grandson's leg in other dimension, how would I let them recognize the facts about Dafa since these people were all non-practitioners and were invited by my son? Teacher told us:

"I can tell you, the fact that right now Dafa has been able to break through the evil persecution and have more of the world's people know about Dafa is inseparable from the things you're doing today. The overall situation right now is what you've established."

Considering from every aspect and from harmonizing and validating the Fa, I thought it might be better to follow their strategy of treatment to prove the power of Dafa so that they would be totally convinced. Of course, I would need to hint to them during the process to let them know what had really happened.

They decided to put a cast on his ankle and then take x-rays to view the condition. If the condition wasn't good, they'd have an operation done by an orthopedic specialist right away.

As we went to the orthopedic ward upstairs, the orthopedist told our grandson: "When we apply the cast, you will feel pain. You'll need to endure it." An orthopedic patient by the door said, "I was in vast pain when they put the cast on me even though I'm an adult. Do you think a child will be able to endure it?" I told my grandson: "Nothing to worry about. Our Falun Dafa Teacher will help you. You bone has been healed and you won't feel pain. Don't be afraid." Everyone there just looked at me, without uttering a word.

While the doctor began "fixing the bone," he asked my grandson: "Do you feel pain?" "No." grandson replied. As he continued to stroke different parts of our grandson's leg, the doctor kept asking whether he felt pain, but the answer always was negative. A dozen people there couldn't comprehend what was happening. Not only did he not feel pain from the injured area of his leg but there was also no swelling. No one could understand the reason.

After putting on the cast, an x-ray was taken. The doctor who took the x-ray asked: "Was the x-ray taken on the leg that was in the cast?" Our grandson answered: "Yes." The doctor then said, "It looks good. There is no need for surgery." The orthopedist was very surprised after he looked at the film. He said that he had done many orthopedic jobs in his life and he had never seen such a severe injury healed automatically. And it was hard to believe that it didn't cause any pain or swelling, but the iron-clad evidence was right there. The head of the orthopedics department then said: "Since every thing is normal, there is no need to take any medicine or to stay in the hospital. You can just go home."

For several days after we returned home, grandson didn't have any pain or swelling. X-rays a week later indicated that the recovery was superb.

The miracle of Dafa and Teacher's healing power has shocked many people, especially my son, who did not believe in Dafa. He could only gasp in admiration. My grandson firmly believes what has happened and has started Dafa cultivation.

No words can describe Teacher's compassion to his disciples and all sentient beings. It is truly that "Buddha's grace transforms heaven and earth." (Hong Yin II)
