(Clearwisdom.net) On July 23, 2005, the Washington DC Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was solemnly held. Nearly four thousand Falun Gong practitioners from around the world attended this grand occasion. As there were a large number of practitioners, the conference was held simultaneously in the Renaissance Hotel and the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Washington. The Third Young Practitioners Fa Conference was also held in another hall in the Renaissance Hotel.

The conference provided simultaneous translation in five languages, including Chinese, English, Korean, Russian and Spanish. About 20 Chinese and Western Falun Gong practitioners shared their experiences in studying the Fa well, improving xinxing, clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings while doing well the three things. The practitioners' speeches were humble and touching. The stories they shared, big or small, reflected the process of their improvement of xinxing guided by the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Two practitioners who have long been doing truth clarification to Chinese people in Mainland China have persistently clarified the truth to Chinese people by making phone calls, sending faxes and chatting on the Internet. There were many stories of people who learned the truth about Falun Gong with their efforts, especially after the Nine Commentaries was published, and many people have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party after learning about the truth from them.

Several practitioners talked about how while promoting the Nine Commentaries, they have seen factors of the Party Culture in themselves, and how they cleared away the pollution and interference, and the concept of "getting involved in politics" while reading the Nine Commentaries. Only bearing one thought of saving sentient beings in mind, they clarified the facts, promoted the Nine Commentaries and saved people.

Western practitioner Richie has only practiced for ten months, but he has experienced many supernormal things in his cultivation. He has also actively participated in doing truth clarification. In order to better clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong, he designed a T-shirt, and constantly improved the design according to the effect while doing truth clarification. While wearing his special T-shirt to clarify the truth, he constantly overcame his mentality of fear and all kinds of human notions. The audience was amazed at a new Western practitioner's enlightenment and courage, and responded warmly to his great sense of humor.

A new Chinese practitioner Ms. Wang has been practicing for a year. She has deeply felt Dafa's miracle and Master's benevolent salvation. Before obtaining the Fa, she had a successful career, but she was plagued by ill health for over ten years. She was once paralyzed and also reached the prophase of stomach cancer. Even drinking room temperature water, she would experience a stomach hemorrhage. Her complexion was what Chinese medicine called, "death color," i.e., dark blue. Nobody believed she was Chinese, but all treated her as Hispanic or Indian. Seemingly coincidentally, Ms. Wang was able to get to know Falun Gong. At the beginning when she obtained the Fa, she was purified both physically and mentally, and several times, she was confronted with danger but emerged unscathed. Ms. Wang's tremendous changes not only strengthened her confidence in cultivation, but also made people around her show interest in Dafa.

Three years ago, Hong Kong and Swiss Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed in front of the Chinese Liaison Office in Hong Kong, but Hong Kong police brought seven charges, including "assaulting the police" and "obstructing the street" against them. Practitioners related to the case shared their cultivation experience as a whole body. During the entire case, Hong Kong Dafa disciples constantly rectified and compensated for omissions as one body. They thoroughly negated the old forces' arrangements. Through clarifying the truth to the judge, police officers and people from all walks of life in Hong Kong, they ultimately broke through the old forces' arrangements and won the case.

Several practitioners involved in media work shared their experience on how to take advantage of mass media to clarify the truth and how to better break through the old forces' economic blockage.

Several practitioner coordinators shared their experience on the importance of letting go of the sense of self, of being kind to fellow practitioners and looking inward when problems arise. A fellow practitioner recalled a sentence in a Clearwisdom article "A Female University Student's Fa Rectification Journey", which had something that really struck him hard, "One of our obligations for every practitioner is to 'bond,' which means eliminating crevices among particles so we can form an indestructible particle group."

During the sharing, many practitioners also talked about the importance of self-cultivation in conducting work on validation of Dafa. Only by studying the Fa and cultivating well can we form an indestructible body, do well in clarifying the truth and saving more sentient beings.

Young Minghui School practitioners got on the stage and performed songs. Their kindness and purity, as well as their heart for rescuing young Dafa disciples inside China, moved many practitioners to tears.

Before the conclusion of the Fa conference, the host shared with everyone Master's words in "Master's Message to the European Fa Conference Held in Vienna," "Master is watching you all, and always looks forward to good news from you."
