Four Cases of Persecutors Receiving Karmic Retribution in China

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Deputy Chief of the Kangping County Police Station Meets with Retribution

Deputy Chief Wu Yuxiang from the Kangping County Police Station in Shenyang City, actively followed orders from the Chinese Communist Party in the persecution of Falun Gong. He arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners and sentenced them to forced labor camps. As a result, many practitioners and their families have experienced great suffering. Recently, policeman Wu and his wife Wang Jinlan went to Shenyang City to visit their son, who was serving in the army. On the return trip, they were involved in an accident and his vehicle overturned. Wu's wife broke her leg and Wu suffered a serious head injury. This event is a warning to those policemen who are still following the evil party: they should stop persecuting Falun Gong.

Two Cases of Retribution in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province

For several years, under the instigation of the Village Security Head Zhang Fengchun, local villager Chen Fuquan from Bainiu Village, Zhangzi Town, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province had gone everywhere tearing down Falun Dafa banners or covering them up with paint. Some practitioners clarified the truth to him and also tried to stop him. They warned him, "By doing this, you might meet with retribution." But Chen didn't listen to them at all, and instead, he said, "I do not believe you. The village government pays me. I would rather do it." As a consequence, in May of 2005, he had a cerebral hemorrhage and died.

For the past few years, local policeman Tao Guoyi has provoked and instigated Quan Xing, a villager from Xizhuangzu, Foyedong County, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, to tear down Falun Dafa posters in many areas. In February of 2005, Quan had a cerebral hemorrhage and today he is still unable to walk.

Collaborators from Yantai City Meet with Retribution

Fifty-seven-year-old Ms. Wu Shiquan lives at No. 13-14, Qingsong Street, Zhibu District, Yantai City. Before the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Wu's whole family of four practiced Falun Gong. Around the year 2000, Ms. Wu and her daughter, Ma Shengchun, were held at the Wanchun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province. Soon after being incarcerated there, they gave up practicing Falun Dafa and became collaborators, helping the police and guards to persecute other practitioners. They even beat other practitioners who did not give up their belief. Ma Shenchun actually beat a practitioner to death at one forced labor camp. The police awarded Wu Shiquan with 60 yuan every month for her participation in the persecution. After their release, mother and daughter often went to the brainwashing center in Yantai City to persecute Dafa practitioners. They used very cruel methods to torture practitioners, and as a reward, each day the police would pay them 60 yuan. Wu's husband went to other practitioners' homes and threatened them, telling them not to practice Falun Gong. He also reported them to the local 610 Office. Moreover, he swore at Falun Dafa and Teacher in public and also said, "I especially swear at your Teacher, and there's nothing you can do about it! See, I am illness free!" Shortly after he said that, he developed cancer and died soon after. The local people who knew the situation all said that Wu's family had done too many evil deeds, and they deserved retribution.
