Sharing My Understanding with Local Fellow Practitioners about Our Role in the Fa-rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) Yesterday afternoon, a Dafa practitioner in our local area encountered severe interference from the evil. She suddenly fell into a coma. Many fellow practitioners went to her home and sent forth righteous thoughts for the whole night. As her condition became worse, she was sent to a hospital. All our practitioners realized the need to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the interference from the evil elements that were behind her symptoms. However, we also understood that what we needed to do was not just help the practitioner. What was more important was to negate the dark minions and rotten demons attempting to take advantage of the practitioners' loopholes and to interfere with the Fa-rectification.

In view of the fellow practitioners' reactions, I personally feel that we should be more rational and think of this issue from the broader perspective of the overall Fa-rectification. So, regarding this issue, I want to share my views with our local practitioners.

Because the interference occurred suddenly, some practitioners thought that we needed to send forth righteous thoughts within a close proximity. Based on this view, more than ten practitioners stayed in the waiting room of the hospital. Some of them still wore Dafa clothing. The situation attracted the attention of many ordinary people in the hospital. As many practitioners were informed to go to the hospital on that day, the group Fa study and exercises (including teaching the exercises to the public), the truth clarification, and other Dafa work were all stopped. Even some Dafa coordinators still asked more practitioners to go to the hospital, stay there for a long time, and send forth righteous thoughts. Doing this not only caused interference to the overall situation of Fa-rectification, but also increased the risk to that fellow practitioner in her tribulation. Since every practitioner stopped doing what he or she needed to do, we acknowledged the evil's interference and enlarged the scope of the interference. The evil that was interfering with the practitioner could see the situation, and thus aggravated the interference of this practitioner, thereby making the tribulation more "effective."

Regarding this incident, I personally feel that the practitioners in our local area should be more rational and mature in balancing our present work of validating the Fa; we should walk our path of Fa-rectification well and should not let the evil take advantage of our loopholes. If all practitioners had stopped the work they needed to do and regarded this incident as the biggest interference from the evil and the most important matter, I personally feel that this reaction would actually have proven that we were complying with the old forces' arrangements. Why? Because the old evil elements, the dark minions, and rotten demons just want to interfere with and hinder the Fa-rectification process. So would it have been right if the evil dark minions had been successful in interfering with the Fa-rectification? Even our understandings were hampered by the evil and thereby our actions directly affected our Dafa work.

Master said in the "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference,"

We definitely need to help the fellow practitioner and use our righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil's persecution of her. However, from the perspective of the Fa, we clearly need to realize that during the time of our Fa-rectification cultivation, which includes clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings, we negate and eliminate the evil elements, the dark minions and rotten demons, which attempt to interfere with the Fa-rectification. If we had correctly positioned this relationship, we could have been more clearheaded in handling this urgent incident without letting it affect the Dafa work that we needed to do. On top of doing well the three things that we need to do, together we could send forth righteous thoughts for our fellow practitioner and thus eliminate the evil interference.

Some practitioners thought that it was necessary to send forth righteous thoughts within a close proximity of the practitioner. My personal understanding is, if we have a clear understanding of the Fa, we will be able to be more rational, more thorough in our thinking, and we will be more able to handle this issue well. Based on our own circumstances and not letting it affect the three things that we need to do, we can continue to do our current work of exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution of Dafa practitioners outside of China.

From another perspective, had the practitioners in our local area all stopped the Dafa work of clarifying the truth and come to the hospital, this would not only have interfered with our validation of the Fa, but also increased the risk to that fellow practitioner. As we are indeed one body, if we have loopholes in our understandings and if our Dafa work was affected by this practitioner's "illness," the dark minions would have used these loopholes to aggravate their persecution of this practitioner and cause interference to Dafa practitioners validating the Fa.

Because this phenomenon is not an isolated one, it has prompted me to write this article and share my understandings of this issue. For a long time, our local practitioners as a whole have lacked understanding on some issues. As a result, our Fa validation work has been directly affected, which has manifested in our lagging behind other areas.

One of the most prominent manifestations is that in other areas, when the CCP's secret agents interfere with practitioners who appeal in front of the Chinese Consulates, these practitioners will report the incidents to the police and expose the evil. In our area, when the practitioners who appeal in front of the consulate are interfered with and are persecuted, they have a wrong understanding. They worry that, if they report the interference to the police, the police and the government will use this as an excuse to drive us away. As a result, our local practitioners as a whole have failed to expose the evil, and instead are proud of "being able to endure." At present, we urgently need to use the Chen Yonglin incident to expose the dark secrets of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong outside of China. Many practitioners in our area still fail to realize that whether we appeal in front of the Chinese Consulate, give out flyers or make our own media, all these actions are for the purpose of exposing the evil, clarifying the truth, and saving people. We should not be attached to these formalities, as doing it that way seems that we would be doing Dafa work with human mentalities. The consequence would manifest in our lack of righteous thoughts. Facing the evil's interference and persecution, we have failed to realize that everything in the cosmos and the human world should support our Dafa work. We should make the interference we have experienced in front of the Chinese Consulate become the means by which the government and the police clearly see the evilness of the CCP. It should never be the opposite, not to mention driving us away, as the principles of the Fa do not allow it, nor do our righteous thoughts.

The occurrence of these problems reveals our shortcomings in our Fa study and our clouded understanding of the Fa. However, at the same time, it provides a good opportunity for us to improve ourselves. We really should not hinder our validation of the Fa due to our failing to cultivate ourselves well.

I suggest that we increase the time of our group Fa study and sharing of understandings. We should truly calm down in our learning the Fa, especially Master's new articles from the past two years. We should truly achieve the state of "taking the Fa as the Master," ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.") instead of using other practitioners' social status and reputation as a guide for our Dafa work. At the same time, I hope that we can break through the partitions among practitioners, search within when encountering problems, and genuinely become one body.
