Mr. Han Fei is a 53-year-old teacher from Shifan University. On May 5, 2005, Mr. Han did not return home. His wife received a phone call from the Nansha Detention Center of Dalian City around 9 p.m. that night. The detention center told her that someone had spotted Han Fei writing something against Jiang Zemin and reported him to the police. His wife was told that he is currently being detained in Dalian City's Yaojia Detention Center.

Mrs. Ruan Ying, Han Fei's wife, had been to Nansha Detention Center and Heishijiao Detention Center to ask the police to allow her to see her husband. She also requested that they release him. The officer in charge replied, "You can only see him if you try to 'convert' him. Otherwise, you can't see him!"

After the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 20, 1999, Han Fei and his wife were illegally detained and sent to forced labor camps many times for going to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. Han Fei has a 90-year-old father who is suffering from many diseases including dementia. He also has a child in the third grade in primary school. His wife lost her job long ago, so it is difficult for Mr. Han's family to survive without him. Currently, he is still being illegally held at a detention center in Dalian City.

Mr. Che Ping is a teacher with the Jilin Sports Institute. He was arrested by the Institute's dean, Changchun City's 610 office, and the Kuancheng District's 610 office, and sent to a brainwashing center ten days ago. Mr. Che decided to protest his detention by going on a hunger strike. Currently, he is extremely weak and his life is in danger.

Mr. Yu Wenkui of Hangzhou City was arrested on May 1, 2005, for distributing truth clarifying materials and clarifying the truth to people. On May 8, the police even went to his living unit at his work place and confiscated all of his valuables.

On May 20, 2005, Ms. Ma Liyan of Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province was reported to the police and subsequently arrested. She was sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Spies secretly followed Mr. Pan Ke because he was clarifying the truth in a residential district of Beijing. As a result, he was arrested. He is being detained in the Shijingshan Detention Center of Beijing. His younger brother was also implicated. Although his brother was released after seven days of detention, he is under 24-hour surveillance.

On April 13, 2005 Ms. Zhang Xianzhen of Dazhu County went to Deyang City to visit her son. The Deyang police arrested her while she was clarifying the truth to people. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

Mr. Yan Shubin is from Beixing Farm, Heilongjiang Province. While leading a homeless life in order to avoid persecution, he was illegally arrested by the police in Weihai City, Shandong Province, who then informed the police at his Farm Bureau in Heilongjiang Province. The Beixing Farm Police sent Police Chief Lu Ziting, Secretary Zhuang Dangsheng, Political Judiciary Committee Vice-Secretary Zhou Shengjun, and police officers Yang Hongjun and Zhao Wenkai to Weihai City, Shandong Province, to escort Mr. Yan back.

On the night of May 24, 2005, a team of local policemen led by police officer Long Jie arrested Ms. Zhang Xirong and Ms. Kang Mou. Not only were they detained, their houses were also ransacked and all of their Falun Dafa materials were confiscated.

Ms. Gong Yueming, 40 years old, is from Wuxue City. On January 2, 2005 she was arrested by local police for suspicion of posting Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials. She was detained in the Wuxue Detention Center. On January 17, she was sent to Wuxue City Number One Detention Center. Her arrest was illegal, as there was no evidence at all to prove that she was posting the materials. Ms. Gong has already been detained for more than five months.

On May 7, 2005, Ms. Zhao Xiuming was found to be carrying Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials at the Harbin Train Station. As a result, she was arrested and detained at the Harbin Railroad Shelter by the local police. The Harbin Railroad Public Security Bureau then sent her to a forced labor camp.

Ms. Wu Huizhen, 52, is from Deyang City, Sichuan Province. At 9 o'clock on June 3, 2005, she went out with her grandchild in her arms. When she approached Dongjie Primary School, the 610-related Mianyang Detention Center police and Residence Committee personnel arrested her. Her grandchild was snatched from her and tossed aside. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Yan Yulan, 50 years old, used to work in the Yangjiayuan Phosphate Fertilizer Factory in Deyang City. On June 3, 2005, around 3 p.m., she was arrested by the Mianyang 610 Office while doing business in Men City. Her whereabouts are also unknown.

Ms. Li Xiufeng is a practitioner from Yihe Village, Taojiatun Township, Gongzhuling City. On June 3, 2005, she was alone at home when the National Security Team of the Gongzhuling City Public Security Bureau arrested her.

In 2004, while she was clarifying the truth to her relatives about Falun Dafa in Shiwu Township, Gongzhuling City, officials from the local town detention center came and arrested her. She was then detained in the Gongzhuling Detention Center, where she was brutally tortured. She was also sentenced to one year of forced-labor. Due to the brutal torture, she vomited a large amount of blood and fainted, so the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City refused to accept her. A few months later, although she was released, the National Security Team went to her house to harass her and check if she had physically recovered. On June 3, 2005, she was arrested again, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Peng Lihua is from Hongan County, Hubei Province. In 2001, she was forced into homelessness in order to avoid being persecuted. In April 2005, she was arrested in Wuhan City and sent to a brainwashing center in Hubei Province. She went on a hunger strike for 8 days. After developing breathing difficulties, she was sent a hospital. Before she was fully recovered, she was brought back to the brainwashing center, where her torture continued.

On June 1, 2005, Associate Professor Mr. Huang Keming of the Wuhan University Mathematical and Statistical Institute was arrested while he was teaching a class. He was sent to the Maioshan brainwashing center in Hubei Province. Business Institute lecturer Mr. Wu Zhenxin was tricked by his boss into leaving his house. As a result he was also arrested and sent to the same place as Mr. Huang Keming.

Ms. Liang Zihui of Guangzhou City was illegally arrested before the Chinese New Year and sent to Tianhe District Detention Center. On June 8, 2005, at around 8:30 in the morning, she was put on trial with no evidence and no one to represent her.

Ms. Liu Lianhua was working in the Macheng City Hospital of Chinese Medicine. The local police for unknown reasons arrested her while she was in her home.

Ms. Zhen Fengying, 44, lives in Group 7, Xinnong Village, Quantai Township, Dongliao County. On May 3, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and illegally arrested and detained by local government officials in the Dongliao Township Police Department Political Security Section. Police officers Chen Lin and Li Jing often tortured and persecuted her. There were bruises all over her body. She was detained for one month. Her family paid a bribe of 1000 yuan to get her released.
