(Clearwisdom.net) I cultivate with my celestial eye closed. With unwavering faith in Teacher, I persist in doing the three things. But I had not been very confident in my ability to send forth righteous thoughts because I could not feel or see any obvious effects. A recent experience convinced me of the power of sending forth righteous thoughts.
The department where I work hung four horizontal banners prior to July 1. One of the banners had slogans about celebrating the 84-year establishment of the Communist Party. The banners were all the same size, and they were hung parallel to each other on very tall posts and fastened with very thick rods. When I saw the celebration banner, I decided that I should not let them poison people any longer. But the banners were hanging so high and tight, I couldn't get them down. So what should I do? I sent forth righteous thoughts while standing under the banner and I focused my thoughts on making a strong wind blow the banner off. July 1 was the next day, but there was no wind. I grew anxious and decided to repeat the thought, "Strong wind clean the evil out." With my strong righteous thoughts and calm heart, I began to see the expected effect. The wind started blowing on the night of July 1, and the wind continued into the next day. When I went back to check the banners on July 3, the banner that propagated Communist Party slogans had been blown off, and the thick rod that held it had broken in two, but the other three banners were still hanging high and safe from the strong wind.
The experience made me realize three things: (1) It is nature's will to extinguish the Communist Party. They will be cleaned out. As a practitioner, I must try my best to save those who are predestined, but still poisoned by the evil party, so that more sentient beings can be saved. (2) We must hold the firm belief that every Dafa practitioner has the ability to eliminate evil, even when it is not clearly seen in this dimension. (3) We must be serious about sending forth righteous thoughts. Whenever there is an existence of any element of the evil party, whether it is uttered by common people or seen in a physical object, we must immediately send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors hidden behind.
Let us not forsake the great mercy and benevolence that our Teacher has shown to us. We must take immediate practical actions to fulfill our grand pledges and produce the effects that Dafa particles should.
