Working as a Whole Body Displays Holy Magnificence - Bo Gendi from Shanghai City Left the Detention Center Using Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Bo Gendi from Shanghai City was arrested on June 16, 2005. After a one month long persecution, she left the Xuhui Detention Center of Shanghai using righteous thoughts on July 16, 2005.

When news broke out that Bo Gendi was arrested again for the third time after being detained for over five years, Falun Dafa practitioners from Shanghai City reflected upon themselves and actively launched a campaign to rescue her. They collected information regarding Bo Gendi and posted it on the Minghui/Clearwisdom websites. They informed many fellow practitioners and exposed the evil to the public.

Fellow practitioners arranged to send forth righteous thoughts for one hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day to eliminate the evil factors behind the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioner Bo Gendi. If conditions permitted, some practitioners went to the surrounding area of the Xuhui Detention Center to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity.

Teacher said in "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference:"

During the one month of detention, Bo Gendi steadfastly resisted the evil persecution in the Xuhui Detention Center, where she has been detained three times. Working together with the Falun Gong practitioners outside, Bo Gendi walked out the gate of the detention center openly and with dignity on July 16, 2005.

Through the actions of Bo Gendi, many of our Falun Dafa practitioners can also learn lessons. Why would a veteran practitioner be arrested three times? Was it due to the lack of our working together as a whole? Was it due to our practitioners' lack of concern toward the practitioners who were recently released from prison? Or had we become satisfied with not being "transformed" after suffering the tortures, and therefore developed a notion of pride? We often heard that practitioners from Shanghai did not do well in working together as a whole. This event also made us realize the importance of working together as a whole.
