By a Dafa disciple from Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) After studying Master's article, "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World," I understood the following Fa of Master's,

After understanding this, I made the best use of my time to clarify the truth. Every day, no matter what I do and where I go, I always remember that I am a Dafa practitioner. As I carry on with a normal life in society, I never stop clarifying the truth. For those whom I have the chance to meet, I never let them miss an opportunity to learn the truth. This way, every day there are at least four to five people, sometimes as many as twenty people, who learn the truth about Falun Dafa through my patient and detailed explanations. So far, at least 600 to 700 people have renounced their membership in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. These people include retirees from the police department, high school teachers, elementary and high school students, young and old persons, workers, farmers, and more. Master has said,

To better assist Master in rectifying the Fa and saving more sentiment beings in more efficient ways, I have written down my experiences and understandings for fellow practitioners' reference.

In the very beginning, when I went out to clarify the truth, I always took with me a pen and a card that a fellow practitioner had prepared for me. This card contained information about the "Solemn Declaration" from the Epoch Times, which urges people to renounce their membership in the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I used every opportunity to clarify the truth. For instance, when I bought groceries, I chatted with the people around me for a while, and then followed their lines of interest and told them what I wanted to say. I was patient. When I saw that they had understood the truth, I then showed them the Solemn Declaration, and they would take up the pen and sign their names. Sometimes I could collect more than twenty signatures in one day.

During the process of clarifying the truth, I paid attention to choosing different topics of conversation for different people. For those who believe in Christianity or Buddhism, I would speak to them according to their beliefs. While clarifying the truth to those who do not have any religious beliefs, I would start the conversation with the topic of the current celestial changes. For instance, I may tell them, "This year, tornadoes, which have been rare for many years in China, have occurred in many regions of our country. There was one such disaster in Chaoyang, which is very close to us. In Sichuan Province, which is a little further away, mudslides have occurred in many places. The one in Heilongjiang Province caused the deaths of 90 children. These are signs that the gods use to warn people. Take another example: in the Tsunami disaster of Southeast Asia, more than 300,000 people instantly lost their lives, which money cannot buy back." By then, I would tell them the following according to their mentalities: "During the June 4 Student Movement, the CCP slaughtered many innocent students and citizens who opposed the corruption in China. The persecution of Falun Gong has enraged the gods, so the gods will eliminate the CCP for sure, and this will not change according to human will." When I described it this way, many people soon understood the truth and thus expressed their willingness to withdraw from the CCP.

When clarifying the truth, we should pay attention to using the power of righteous thoughts. One afternoon, I accompanied a fellow practitioner to a grocery market. While shopping for fruit, I started to clarify the truth to the vendor. At that time, five or six people from the tax bureau came to collect taxes, and they were about one meter away from the fruit stall. I sent forth righteous thoughts so they would not hear what I was talking about. As a result, I could clarify the truth to the seller without stopping, and he soon understood the truth and also agreed to withdraw from the CCP. My mind was very pure at that time. The fellow practitioner also sent forth righteous thoughts with no fear. This practitioner used to have a strong attachment of fear. After she let go of this attachment, she also stepped forward to clarify the truth, and has helped many people understand the facts of the persecution

During truth-clarification, I may sometimes encounter some people who are really difficult to persuade. At such times, I remember that I am a cultivator, and I need to use the wisdom that Master gives me and use powerful righteous thoughts to eradicate the vicious old force elements and the evil party spirit that are behind these people. I realize that I need to inspire their conscience and compassion, so that they can really know the truth. Sometimes we may need to try many times in order to awaken their compassion. This requires us to be compassionate, from the bottom of our hearts, and have the patience to save them. We should not be too eager to see success. For example, one person understood the truth only after I talked with him five times.

When I encountered difficulties and hindrances stemming from my mind, I would remember the story about Moses saving the Israelis by leading them out of Egypt. I thought, "Jehovah told Moses to lead the Israelis out of Egypt, so the Israelis would no longer suffer from the Egyptian Pharaoh's oppression. At that time, Moses doubted his own ability. But under Jehovah's guidance, Moses did it." We are Master's disciples. We have Master and the Fa. So as long as we believe in Master, there is nothing that we cannot do well. Master said,

In this way, I use Master's Fa to strengthen my righteous belief and thoughts and use the stories of the gods to encourage myself.

When clarifying the truth, I do not think about how many people have signed their names to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. If a person still does not want to make the withdrawal after I clarify the truth, I still patiently tell him, "If you later meet another Falun Gong practitioner who tells you about withdrawing from the CCP, I urge you to sign your name. This is for your own benefit. This is totally for you." In this way, he will understand. Doing it this way also lays a good foundation for his later declaring his withdrawal from the CCP.

As people's belief in Buddhas and gods is low, I will, according to the situations that I encounter, tell people the stories about Buddhas and of the persecution that my family suffered during the Cultural Revolution. I do this to make them understand the benefits that people can get by believing and respecting Buddhas, so as to awaken their beliefs in gods and Buddhas. I may tell them, "My family used to own several gold-covered Buddha statues. During the Cultural Revolution, my family dared not keep them at home. In order to comply with the political situation at that time, we sold the statues to a recycling station. Afterwards our whole family was sent back to the countryside, and the reason was that the class status of my family was considered not good, although the truth was that my family's class status was mistakenly classified. Why had this happened? It was because my family had failed to respect the Buddhas. I also told the person that the evil party spirit has never stopped its persecution of good people, nor has it shown any mercy. What happened to my family is a living example. Now the persecution against Falun Gong is even more hideous." After I used the facts to explain the sinister nature of the CCP, people come to understand that only by believing in and truly respecting Buddhas can a person gain blessings and protection.

I sometimes may feel impatient. For example, when clarifying the truth about the withdrawal from the CCP to my family members, I felt a lack of ability. I once told my elder sister, "Our elder brother does not believe no matter how hard I have tried. I do not want to talk about this to him any more. Let him go his own way." However, measuring myself with the Fa, I realized that I lacked benevolence when dealing with my family members. I thought, "How benevolent Master is! Master has repeatedly given chances to all sentient beings, including those who have committed crimes against Dafa. How could I complain, when I've only done so little!" Every time when I remembered Master's words, "Gather up and rescue the beings that you are to save!" ("To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm") I realize that I have done far from enough, as there are many sentient beings still waiting to be saved by us.

Through this period of truth-clarification, I understand that I am Master's disciple. As long as I follow the path arranged by Master and as long as I steadfastly believe in Teacher and Dafa, I can walk my path well.

Master said,

Regarding this Fa, I also gained a new understanding: that is, we are the divine being who are using their divine powers in the human world.

I've accomplished what I have only by using the wisdom that Master gives me. I believe in Master, and I will do whatever Master asks me to do.
