Four practitioners, including Wang Shuzhi, Wang Wenrong, and Xue Qinghua from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province were unlawfully arrested when distributing truth clarification materials in Xingshan in February 2003. The arrests were carried out by the local police led by Liu Hongtong, head of Xingshan Police Station. The practitioners were beaten and vilified, interrogated, tortured and unlawfully sentenced. The details of the persecution of Wang Shuzhi, Wang Wenrong, and Xue Qinghua are as follows:

Wang Shuzhi

Ms. Wang Shuzhi, 41, is a practitioner from Changfeng Village, former Duimiancheng Town, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. In April 2000, she planned to appeal in Beijing but was arrested on her way by the police in Jingzhou City, and was taken back by Liu Cheng, a police officer from Duimiancheng Town, to her hometown. Later she was detained at a detention center in Shuangcheng City and fined 1000 yuan.

In January 2001, Wang Shuzhi was arrested at home by Fan Dongjun, the head of Duimiancheng Police Station. Others involved in her arrest were: Sun Jihua, the Political and Legal Party Secretary; Tian Chunlai, Li Zhicheng, the Party Secretaries responsible for Party and People Relationships; Wang Xin, the Party Secretary; and Zhao Fulian, the head of the township government. She was later detained and persecuted at the Shuangcheng Detention Center. In May of the same year, Wang Shuzhi was arrested at a Fa Conference held in Hongcheng Town by Sunjihua, the Political and Legal Party Secretary of Handian Town, Zhao Hongsheng, and others. She was then detained at Shuangcheng Detention Center and was severely tortured. After being released from the detention center, her husband divorced her under psychological and financial pressure from the evil CCP. A warm family was thus broken.

On February 28, 2003, Wang Shuzhi was unlawfully arrested again by the police from Xingshan Police Station when she went to Xingshan to distribute truth clarification materials. She was shocked with electronic batons and beaten with sticks. Her breasts and toes were all black and blue, and wounds appeared all over her body. Later, she was unlawfully sentenced to five years of imprisonment at the Heilongjiang Women's Prison located in Harbin City. Her two daughters are now raised by their grandmother.

Wang Wenrong

Ms. Wang Wenrong, 37, is a practitioner from Baoguo Village, Wanlong Town, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. She was unlawfully arrested by Xingshan police in February, 2003, and was sentenced to three years of imprisonment at the Heilongjiang Women's Prison. Her family was bankrupt by the persecution. Her two children, the younger one only nine years old, are now raised by their grandmother.

Wang Wenrong has been severely tortured at the Heilongjiang Women's Prison. On November 28, 2003, she was shocked with electronic batons and kicked by Wu Yanjie. Another inmate, Liu Yumei, kicked Wang Wenrong in the chest, leaving her breathless.

Xue Qinghua

Mr. Xue Qinghua, 40, is a practitioner from Shuangsheng Village, Wanlong Town, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. On December 19, 2000, he went to Beijing to validate Dafa, was arrested and sent to Shuangcheng Detention Center. After having been unlawfully detained for 39 days, he was detained in Wanlong Town for another month.

In February, 2003, he was again arrested by Xingshan Police when he was distributing truth clarification materials in Xingshan Town. He was unlawfully sentenced to five years of imprisonment at Daqing Prison. His land was taken by the persecutors and he has been left penniless.
