The World Organization for Human Rights: Those Who Participate in the Persecution Shall Be Brought to Justice (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 21, 2005, organizations such as the Falun Dafa Association, Freedom House and Friends of Falun Gong jointly held a "July 20" rally against the persecution of Falun Gong in China on the west lawn in front of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Mr. Morton Sklar, Executive Director of the World Organization for Human Rights USA, attended and addressed the rally.

Mr. Sklar stated in his speech that the World Organization for Human Rights and Falun Gong practitioners have filed lawsuits in the U.S. and other countries against those Chinese communist officials who have severely violated Falun Gong practitioners' human rights over the past six years. The World Organization for Human Rights will continue its effort to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Sklar said that on that day, a Chinese communist official who participated in the persecution was sued in the U.S. His organization will utilize all measures to sue these people. They will file not only civil lawsuits but also criminal lawsuits, and also come here each year to express their support so as to allow people to realize the significance of this effort.

He said that all these civil and criminal lawsuits filed in American courts against those Chinese communist officials and practitioners' efforts against the persecution will eventually stop the persecution and the human rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners that have been going on for six years. He stated that it is an honor for the World Organization for Human Rights to join the effort to stop the persecution.
