By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I know in China that the evil is rampant in the persecution of practitioners in prisons and in society. I was put in prison, too, for assisting Master in the Fa-rectification. However, I never use the word "evil." Here is what I do. Whether it's in prison or in a police station, no mater which policeman interrogates me, I do not have thoughts of fighting with him. I don't have hatred, either. I treat them with sincerity, clarifying the truth to them according to their ability to understand. And I convince them with rationality. Most policemen are moved by my kindness and compassion. There are some individuals with a strong demonic nature who have been heavily poisoned by the Communist Party culture. As long as they listen to what I say, they have no ammunition with which to argue with me.

I was once detained in a custody center for distributing truth-clarifying materials. The police started to interrogate me. I didn't say a word, just silently sent forth righteous thoughts. Seeing that I wouldn't say anything, the officer shouted out a call to so-and-so. (It was said that that person is a thug who beats practitioners in a most ferocious way. Some practitioners lost control of their bowels due to his beatings). I didn't panic. On the contrary, I felt I was divine. I remembered the story of Ji Gong, the monk. I thought, if you beat me, I will let you have all the pain. (At that time, Master hadn't yet publish the article "What Are Supernormal Abilities.")A policeman, probably the commissioner, said to me, "There was a Falun Gong practitioner who called me evil. He said I was a bad guy." I said to him, "I am not going to curse you." He said, "Why not?" I said, "Our Master tells us not to call people bad names. I can't see if you are good or bad. Besides, whether you are good or bad is your business. It has nothing to do with me. Why would I curse you?" Another policeman slapped me in the face. The commissioner said, "Don't hit her."

While I was detained, the police often came to ask me questions. After one came in to ask a bunch of questions and left, another would come in and do the same. A lot of them came in more than once. They asked me the same questions many times. I realized that they arrest practitioners every day because they are deceived by Jiang Zemin and his gang, so they have an antagonistic mentality towards Falun Gong. Their conduct harms themselves as well as others. They are really pitiable. I often told the police, "We are practitioners. We practice Falun Gong openly and boldly. We want you to know that Falun Gong is good, because Falun Gong is the universal law based on Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Think about it, isn't Truthfulness good? Isn't Compassion good? Isn't it good to have Forbearance? Even if you are not a practitioner and cannot follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, I am sure you want people to treat you with compassion. If you think the universal law of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is right, your health, life, and career will gradually enter a benign circle. Doesn't everyone want to have a bright future? Is it not for your own good that I say all this?"

The commissioner said, "So you think the CCP [Chinese Communist Party] will not last long?" I said, "History is just like that. When something turns bad, it goes to the end of its life. The reason for us going to the State Council Appeal Office in Beijing near Zhongnanhai [the "April 25" event] was to tell the leaders of the CCP the truth about Falun Gong and to save them. It's a pity that they didn't understand it. But we cannot give up saving people. We still have to save those who are savable, to let them know that Falun Gong is good so that they will choose brightness and eternal life." I could see that the commissioner was moved.

Some practitioners couldn't talk with the police with kindness and rationality. They would fight with the police, thus further provoking the demonic nature in the police to do evil things. Practitioners suffer the results while the police commit crimes and create karma. Thus, those practitioners did not save the police, but may have led them to create more karma for themselves. No matter where we are, we are to save sentient beings. Since I am sincere with the police, I asked the commissioner to be sincere with me. He promised to set me free. During the time he dared not face me, he asked my family members to pressure me into telling them where I got the truth-clarification materials. I said I made them myself. It had nothing to do with others. In the end, they set me free.

When I do Dafa work, clarify the truth, and tell people to withdraw from the CCP and its related organizations, I do well with most people but some individuals are harder to reach. People who hear what I say often say that I am eloquent, clear and insightful. Many practitioners also ask me to clarify the truth to their acquaintances and to talk to many people at construction sites. I have been doing so for several years without slacking off. Now when I clarify the truth to people, I don't have to think about what I am going to say. I simply open my mouth and talk to them, and I can relate easily to them through the Fa. It is because of the wisdom Master gives to me. Since I have the heart to save people, Master gives me the wisdom to do it. I also collect information and folk tales from the other people to help me do better in truth clarification and enrich my experience. Every time I face sentient beings and clarify the truth, I feel my understanding of the Fa is enhanced.

When people do not accept what is said in truth-clarification and about withdrawal from the CCP and its organizations and say something bad about Falun Gong,many practitioners say that those people are "extremely evil." They even say those people are just waiting for karmic retribution and are impossible to be saved. I feel sorry when I hear this. I often tell practitioners how I see it. I only refer to the evil, the rotten ghosts, bad gods, and the evil minions of the old forces in other dimensions, the CCP's evil specter, Jiang Zemin's group of scoundrels and their accomplices as evil. I send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate them every day. At other times, I do not mention the word "evil." I have my reasons: First, I don't want them to interfere with my righteous thoughts. Secondly, I don't recognize them, nor do I want them in my field. I just want purity, for only with purity can I send forth righteous thoughts. Thirdly, Dafa disciples' words carry energy. I won't strengthen the evil elements with my words. When saving sentient beings, sometimes, I meet people who really behave very badly. I know I should only send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil behind them. I don't allow myself to have the thought that the person is evil. Those people are sentient beings that we ought to save. I think if a practitioner says that someone who does not listen to the truth is evil, he is actually pushing him to the evil's side, and unintentionally strengthening the evils' field and making it harder to save sentient beings.

With regard to the issue of withdrawing from the CCP and its organizations, everybody is facing a choice of life and death, especially the party cadres. If their demonic nature were touched, would they not show it? At this critical moment, will they not be moved? Their violent reaction is normal. When encountering such difficulties, practitioners not being responsible would say, "This man is evil. That man, too. And that one is not savable." It actually becomes a hidden negative factor to slow down the pace of persuading people to withdraw from the CCP.

Master says in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.," "As I've said, everything that happens today in ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts." When one practitioner says something irresponsibly, and more say something similar, think about it, how many are saying similar things? Is it a small field now? Isn't it helping the evil? Master says in "Your Mind Must be Right" in Zhuan Falun, "Someone asks me: 'Teacher, I'm practicing Falun Dafa now. I'm also very interested in Zhouyi or things like fortune-telling. Can I still use them?' Let me put it this way: If you carry a considerable amount of energy, whatever you say will have an impact. If something is not that way, but you have told someone that it is that way, you may have committed a bad deed. An everyday person is very weak. His messages are unstable and may change. If you open your mouth and say something to him, that tribulation may become true."

We are Master's disciples. We should measure everything by the Fa. In the past, there was a saying among everyday people: Do not speak badly about your child in case the child turns bad accordingly, because it was a wish from the parents. We Dafa disciples should be even more careful in what we say. It is not a trivial issue. When clarifying the truth and persuading people to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations, we should try our best to make them understand the truth, for that is the basis on which people will accept Dafa. If we can't make it clear to them and for some reason, they have an opposing mindset, and we tend to complain about them and say something irresponsible, we are defining them. Isn't it awful? If they don't understand it, we should talk to them again. As long as they listen to us, it will not be a waste of time. In addition, we can send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements in their field.

In our minds, we have to give them a chance so that they can be saved. If someone really cannot be saved, it is his problem. At least we know that we didn't push him to the evil side. We did our part and have nothing to regret. Practitioners I know all agree with me. Seeing that the Fa-rectification has come to this stage and there are still a lot of practitioners being arrested, and the truth clarification materials printing sites are still being destroyed around the country, I couldn't help thinking, do we have some loopholes as a whole? When we look within, do we find the fundamental problems? If we say this policeman is evil and that man is bad, who else do we save? The above is just my personal opinion to share with practitioners.
