A Second-Grade Student: "Falun Dafa Returned My Happy Life to Me"

(Clearwisdom.com) My name is Zhang Hui (pen name) I am a second grade elementary school student living in the Huolinguole City Inner Mongolia autonomous region. One year ago, I was a good student, being both a good person and intellectually keen. However, because of my parents always fighting with one another and ignoring their formal work, the business they were running got worse and worse. Eventually, they were unable to recover from the failure. At last, they ended up in divorce.

My father was fooling around in the internet bar every day. Later he married a lady he met there. My mother hated Daddy so much that it caused her to lose all confidence in living. She started to gamble, playing mahjong as a way to make a living, and always cursed me whenever she felt a little bit unhappy. Even when I was sick with fever, she never came home to take care of me, so I had to hire a pedicab to take me to go to the hospital for an injection.

When I was alone lying in the hospital, I shed tears all over my pillow. I really felt that I was just a weed, and that no one really cared about me. Because of losing a warm family, my school grades also dropped rapidly and I became a bad student.

My aunt, who has been always steadfast in practicing in Falun Gong, saw that no one could take care of me, so she took me to her house every weekend. She was concerned about my life. She taught me the right way of thinking. I watched a Falun Gong truth clarification CD and listened to Master's lectures, and she told me to recite, "Falun Dafa is great" every day in my heart. At the beginning I did not believe it, because the media, text books and teachers all gave us negative messages. But when I personally heard Master Li in his lectures explaining how we should be good people while practicing Falun Dafa, I understood that the TV shows and text books were all propaganda and lies. Those words poison all of us.

At present, I tell my schoolmates the facts about Falun Gong every day. When I come home, I also tell my Mom how wonderful Falun Dafa is. Now my Mom also knows that Falun Gong practitioners are suffering from persecution, and that the Jiang regime and the CCP are very evil. She also recites "Falun Dafa is great" everyday, and quit playing mahjong and her gambling habit. She even found a job. Besides that, the job she had lost so many years ago was restored and the company now pays her a large amount of pension as compensation. Mom says in the near future, when we save enough money we can also buy a new house, and start our new life.

Aunt always encourages me to be a good student following the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" to be a good person. Only Falun Dafa can change people's destiny. In one of my school tests, I forgot an ancient poem which I had known before. In my heart I was unconsciously thinking "Falun Dafa is great", suddenly I remembered that poem, and then I wrote it down and turned it in.

My schooling has returned to my normal level and I am happier and stronger than before. My teacher says I am the fastest improving student in our class. I am so grateful to Falun Dafa. It has given my Mom and me healthy minds and a wonderful life. I also very much miss great Master. Hopefully one day I will have the chance to see him.
