Fa Validation Stories

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had planned to persecute and suppress Falun Gong for a long time. As early as 1996, authorities in some areas started closing bookstores that were selling Falun Dafa books and revoking the storeowners' licenses. Using water hoses from fire trucks, they sprayed those who were practicing Falun Gong exercises in the park, or they simply parked police cars around exercise sites to intimidate the practitioners. One practitioner mentioned to me that he had a friend who worked for a school's Communist Youth League Committee. In 1998, the friend told him that he shouldn't practice Falun Gong any more because the Police Bureau had issued a document saying that the CCP had decided to label Falun Gong a "cult."

In 1999, the CCP began their brutal persecution. I went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Dafa, telling people how practitioners just want to be good people. When I asked people where the Appeals Bureau was, a kind-hearted person was surprised and said to me, "Are you a Falun Gong practitioner? Please don't go there. They have arrested so many practitioners there." So I went to Tiananmen Square to practice the exercises. A local person said, "There are practitioners in Tiananmen Square every day, practicing the exercises and holding up banners. The arrests can't stop them. The practitioners were so calm, even when they were put into the police cars. That shows their courage and righteousness. The government shouldn't hurt its people like that."

I was illegally arrested and sent back to my hometown. My husband was forced to sign an agreement to "help to transform" me. He wouldn't let me go out. The Chinese central TV station was going to show the staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident. Local governments at each level were notified, and local officials then notified each practitioner to watch the staged "news." At around 5:30 PM, my husband received a call from his factory manager, telling him to ask me to watch the national news program that day. My husband told me to turn on the TV before 7 PM. I thought to myself, this must be something bad, so I didn't watch. When I heard about the staged self-immolation from my husband, I said to him, "Practitioners wouldn't commit suicide. The news said that Falun Gong practitioners committed suicide to reach consummation. That's a lie. They are framing Dafa." That night, a practitioner came to my house and told me, "The news was so fake. They showed people conjoining their hands the wrong way."

During that time, I was eager to go out to clarify the truth about Dafa to people. My family members couldn't stop me. I didn't have enough truth-clarification materials, so I used old materials I'd saved over the years. I re-sorted the materials based on the practice stories and made individual brochures for easy distribution. I went to places with lots of people, such as pharmacies and shopping centers. Authorities and my family members were monitoring me closely. Any chance I got to go out I used as an opportunity to clarify the truth to people.

During the New Year's holiday, many practitioners went out to hang up truth-clarification banners in public places. My family members didn't want me to go out, but that didn't stop me. I told my husband, "I want to sell the kittens. It won't be easy to sell them once they grow too big." He called my sister-in-law to go with me (so he wouldn't have to worry about me so much.) While we were at the pet market, I needed to use the restroom. I took the opportunity to hang up truth-clarification banners on both sides of the overpass bridge. Many people could see them. I went back to our booth. My sister-in-law suggested that we go home. I agreed, but I still had one banner left. Where to put it? The double-decker bus reached my sister-in-law's stop, and she got off the bus. The last bus stop (the train station) was approaching. I pulled out the last banner, opened the windows on the upper-deck, and hung the banner on the side of the bus. Then I got off the bus with the rest of the passengers. The bus circled through the train station square to go back. So many people there saw the banner, which said, "Falun Dafa is upright."

The Chinese central TV station's programs, including a show called Focal Point, were actively involved in making up stories to defame Falun Gong. People were poisoned by the lies spread by the state-controlled media. We needed to tell people the facts. I collected a full set of truth clarification materials that explained how and why the vicious persecution started. I compressed the content and did some formatting so the text could fit on stickers. One day my husband told me he was going to take a walk and would be back in half an hour. I left the house immediately after he left. I took a taxi to the police station up the street. I told the driver to wait for me, and I'd be back in a few minutes. I went into the police station. There was an office at the end of the hallway. I put the truth-clarification material on the wall about 2 meters away from the office and went home. There was an open letter to Chinese policemen, which told the story of how the court secretly tried some policemen as scapegoats responsible for the former Chinese president Liu Shaoqi's death. (Liu Shaoqi was tortured to death during the Culture Revolution by the CCP.) Those policemen were later secretly executed. This letter should be put in front of the police station so the officers can read it and learn not to follow suit. I made some glue and wrapped it up in a piece of candy wrapper, and then I put the letter inside some newspaper. Many people pass by the police station during their lunch hour. There is a utility pole in front of the police station. I put the glue on the back of the letter and stuck it to the pole. There is a hospital nearby. I put several truth-clarification brochures on the sign-in table so the doctors could read them.

The evil CCP spent a lot of money on its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. They gave bonuses to the perpetrators and allowed them to enjoy certain facilities without paying for them. People working in labor camps and brainwashing centers, as well as security guards and their assistants, were all rewarded generously with money and other items, so these people became the devoted perpetrators of the persecution. Their surveillance system is everywhere: local communities, supermarkets, and in every street and alley. During the Spring Festival, some officials sent boxes of fruit to practitioners' homes so they would "cooperate" with the persecution. Practitioners refused to accept them.

Because I failed to study the Fa well, I was influenced by others' evil enlightenment when I was illegally detained at the labor camp. After I returned home, for a long time, I couldn't get rid of my attachments. Practitioners helped me a lot. I read Teacher's Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference. Teacher said, "If you've fallen don't just lie there." Tears kept running down my face. I can't express in words how grateful I am for Teacher's grand mercy.

A couple went to their hometown to distribute truth-clarification materials (the husband isn't a practitioner.) They went to four towns and put the materials on fruit trees, stands of corn, and any other suitable place they found. Later, the husband's mother came to stay with them. She told them that during the Spring Festival, Falun Gong's truth-clarifying materials were all over their hometown in the mountains. People from several towns were reading them. The police sent out many policemen on motorcycles to look for the practitioners who had placed the materials. They didn't find anything after searching through the mountainous area for several days.

During the National Day holiday, truth-clarification materials were falling from the top of a big department store building in the downtown area. People looked up. Two security guards rushed to the top. They saw two people coming down in a hurry and stopped them. One guard said to the other guard, "Go up and see whether there is anyone else up there. I'll hold these two here." After the other guard left, one practitioner took the stairs and left. The guard yelled at him to stop, but he couldn't chase after him in case the other practitioner left too, so he had to let the practitioner go.
