A Diligent Fellow Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, I started to participate in a group Fa study. One of the practitioners shared her cultivation experiences and some of her stories in validating the Fa with me. I feel I should write them down to encourage other practitioners so that we can help each other walk the path of validating the Fa better. The most important thing right now is to clarify the truth and eliminate the factors from the evil spirit of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in people's minds so that more people can be saved.

The following is an oral account from this practitioner:

I am sixty-five years old now. I started practicing Falun Dafa on June 28, 1997. Before I started to practice, I had many illnesses. I was blind in my right eye. I had chronic inflammation of the ear, which left me almost deaf. I also had inflammation of the pancreas, inflammation of the gallbladder, tracheitis, gastric hemorrhage, and arthritis everywhere. It seemed I had problems with every part of my body. My complexion was dark and greenish back then. And I had a strong addiction to cigarettes.

The hardest thing for me to endure was that my only son died of cancer at age 27. He left me with a grandchild that was only a few years old. I was completely broken down both mentally and physically. I felt death would be better than life, but I went on living.

One day, a neighbor came to visit me. During our chat, I asked her what she had been doing every day. She told me she practiced meditation. I asked her what type and she said, "Falun Gong." I asked her to tell me about it, but she said if I wanted to know, I should read the book first. Thus, she lent me a copy of Zhuan Falun.

The level of my formal education is equivalent to that of a second grade elementary school student. It was difficult for me to read Zhuan Falun because there were many characters I did not know, and I also had bad eyesight. But with much effort and my daughter's help, I finished the entire book. After reading it, I felt what Teacher said was very suitable for me and I understood it. I decided to practice Falun Gong. From the bottom of my heart, I knew that this was what I was looking for. Before that, there were many people trying to introduce me to other types of qigong, but I was not interested. After reading through Zhuan Falun once, it really attracted me. Just like that, I started to practice the exercises and study the Fa every day. A month later, my home became a practice site, 30 to 40 people came to practice and study the Fa every day.

The seventh day after I started the practice, I stopped smoking. One year later, my body had undergone miraculous changes. I can see, and hear clearly; my complexion returned to normal; Teacher cleansed my body of all its illnesses. Everyone who knew me said I was a changed person. I knew Falun Dafa had given me a second life.

During that period of time, I had a dream. In my dream, I was told that my life should have ended, but because I started to practice Falun Gong, my life had changed. I knew then that I must be diligent in my cultivation so that I wouldn't let Teacher down.

Right now, Teacher has told Dafa disciples to clarify the truth to people; to let people know the evil nature of the CCP; and to help those people who have been deceived by the CCP to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. By doing so, these people will be saved when gods eliminate the CCP. I know there are certain difficulties for me to do well in this matter, but I firmly believe in Dafa and Teacher. I believe that what Teacher has asked us to do must be the most righteous thing in the world. It is saving people's lives. I am sure that I can save those people who have pre-destined relationships with me as long as I study the Fa well and keep my thoughts and actions righteous.

I immediately took action, starting with my own family and closest friends. Through careful study of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I remembered the majority of its contents. I thought to myself that I should go back to my hometown where my mother and sister live. When I went back, I brought with me copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, truth-clarification materials and Zhuan Falun. Once I got home, I came to realize that there were practitioners there too, but they were still afraid to tell people to withdraw from the CCP. In addition, local officials were illegally monitoring practitioner's activities, thus interfering with truth-clarifying efforts in that area.

I told myself that I must reach my goal for coming there. I used the opportunities when family and friends came to visit me to tell them the facts. I talked to them from different angles based on different people's way of thinking. I gave out truth-clarifying materials and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to those who could read. For those who couldn't read, I just talked to them. When some of them raised questions, I tried to explain to them in ways they could understand. I kept strong righteous thoughts in this process. Just like that, I talked to one person after another. Finally my brother-in-law told me, "Sister, I know now that you are here to save us." I was very happy to hear that. They had finally awakened.

In three days, over thirty people announced their withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations as a result of my efforts, and those with pre-destined relationships borrowed copies of Zhuan Falun.

After I came back from my hometown, I continued to urge family members and other people to withdraw from the CCP. Recently over fifty people withdrew from the CCP organizations after truth-clarification. Time does not wait for people! I hope all fellow practitioners will let go of their attachments, walk well on the path Teacher has arranged for us, and save more sentient beings.
