Ms. Wang Huimin, Art Director of the Huacheng Publishing House in Guangzhou, Sent to Brainwashing Center

On August 16, 2005, undercover police arrested practitioner Wang Huimin, the art director of Huacheng Publishing House in Guangzhou, and sent her to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center. To date they have not allowed her family to visit. What we understand of the arrest is that her co-workers saw her passing out truth clarifying VCDs and reported her to the police.

Ms. Wang Huimin is 43 years old and has been to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa. She has been previously detained illegally in the 13^th Division of Changping Police Department in Beijing, and Dongshan Detention Center in Guangzhou.

From November 2001 to April 30, 2003, she was tortured in the Chatou Labor Camp in Guangzhou, and in a Brainwashing Center run by the Dongshan District. On November 14, 2001, the labor camp guards dragged her to the 3^rd Group Factory and cuffed her to the window for the whole night after they found her reciting Falun Dafa articles. During May and June of 2002, those in charge of the Dongshan District Brainwashing Center emptied out room 206 to use for torturing practitioners. They would not allow the practitioners to sit or sleep. Wang Huimin was locked in there for nine days. The first night they tortured her the prison guards poured water into the room, locked the door and turned the radio all the way up. In April of 2003 she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. They finally let her go when her life was in danger.
