Thailand: Minghui School Is Established (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 24, 2005, a Minghui School was established in Thailand. At about 2 p.m., Minghui School teachers and students, as well as more than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners held an opening ceremony in a spacious and bright classroom.

Furniture in the classroom including desks, chairs, and blackboards were donated by practitioners. Master's image was hung on the wall. The classroom was also decorated with colorful balloons and photos that documented activities held by other Minghui Schools around the world. A banner that read "Thailand Minghui School" was hung on the wall. At present, Thailand Minghui School has classes on Saturday afternoon. Classes included story telling, music appreciation, arts, English, and handcraft.

Teacher Wang who is in charge of the preparation of setting up this school said, through various kinds of interesting classes, singing and games, the school tries to allow young children to understand and experience the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" in their daily lives. The school also instructs children to do Falun Gong exercises and help them study the Fa principles.

Several parents of Minghui School students spoke at the ceremony to express their gratitude towards Master. They also expressed their appreciation towards fellow practitioners for their selfless contribution. Ms. Xu from Mainland said that her entire family had to leave home to avoid the Chinese communist regime's persecution. Now her child has a good environment to study and she was so moved that she could not help shedding tears.

Minghui School teachers include some Falun Dafa practitioners who are experts in different areas. Some of them drew pictures on the spot, some played a flute, some told stories and demonstrated to students how to clarify the truth. Children love the new place very much. They were very happy on their first day in Minghui School. Teachers who are also practitioners of Falun Dafa wish the seeds of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" be planted into children's hearts and the children will become good children and diligent young Dafa practitioners.

The performances and speeches won rounds of applause. The celebration was a great way to get the Minghui School in Thailand off to a wonderful start.
