(Clearwisdom.net) On September 13, freshmen students' second day on
campus, the new students at Dong Hwa University had the opportunity to learn
about various university activities. Student Club Day was also scheduled for
this day. The Falun Dafa Club of Dong Hwa University participated in this event
to let more students know about Falun Dafa and the beauty of "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Forbearance" and also the truth about the persecution of Falun
Gong in China.
The event took place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The new students walked from
one table to another. Many of them knew Falun Dafa and said, "Oh, Falun
Dafa" and "Falun Dafa is good!"

Students of the Falun Dafa Club prepared many introductory materials,
attractive, small calendars, and lotus flower decorations to give out to the new
students. Many students happily accepted them and some stopped to ask for more
information about Falun Dafa.
When students stopped to look at the pictures of the persecution, a
practitioner explained to them about the brutal persecution in Mainland China.
Students were shocked to hear the truth and felt sympathetic for those
practitioners being persecuted.
At the same time, the practitioners also introduced the "International
Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance Art Show" that is circulating among
colleges and universities in the Hualien Area. These artworks were created by
artists who practice Falun Dafa, and display the beauty and peacefulness of
cultivation practice as well as the efforts of overseas practitioners to end the
persecution. Many students said that they would visit the art show when it comes
to Dong Hwa University.
The Student Clubs event was a success. The truth of the persecution and the
beauty of Falun Dafa were planted in many people's hearts.
