Decatur Daily Reports on Falun Gong Practitioners' Campaign to End the Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) On September 10 and 11, young Falun Gong
practitioners from Alabama and neighboring states, their parents and fellow
practitioners spent the weekend conducting a van-tour across Alabama and
Tennessee to raise public awareness of the persecution suffered by Falun Gong
practitioners in China and the difficult situation faced by children who have
been orphaned in the persecution of Falun Gong. Decatur Daily, a newspaper in Alabama, published a photo report on
September 12 of their van tour. The report stated that Connie Liu spoke about
the plight of Chinese people who practice a form of spiritual meditation called
Falun Gong on Saturday in front of Decatur City Hall. Liu and others from
Alabama and Tennessee spent the weekend campaigning for President Bush's help in
rescuing those being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party for practicing
Falun Gong. The campaign preceded Bush's meeting with Hu Jintao, the CCP leader.
