A Cultivation Story About My Auntie and I

Greetings venerable Teacher! Greetings fellow practitioners!

I am a young practitioner from Mainland China. Actually, I was very lucky to become a Dafa practitioner. I was born into a misfortunate family. My parents divorced when I was very little. My grandma raised me. Because of my Auntie (in China, it is polite and affectionate to address an older woman outside the family as aunt), in the past my family always argued. Every other day, they would cause a disturbance. Later, when she got older, many severe illnesses started bothering my Auntie.

It could be said that she had a predestined relationship with Dafa, because her illnesses allowed her the chance to learn Falun Dafa. She spent a lot of time learning, and found an assistant to teach her the exercises. She finished reading Teacher's book Zhuan Falun in one week. Then, through a period of studying the Fa and doing the exercises, and especially sharing experiences with fellow practitioners, my Auntie improved a lot. Gradually, her illnesses disappeared and her health improved. Under these circumstances, my Auntie started introducing Dafa to me. At that time, I was five years old.

The first time I practiced, my third-eye opened. I did not understand this in the beginning. When I practiced, I always felt that a very large and tall presence was standing behind me, practicing along with me. I often curiously turned my body around to see, but when I did so, it disappeared. When I turned back around, it again appeared behind me. For many months, it was like this. Later, I even saw many black and white Faluns. That second day, these black and white Faluns became many different colorful Faluns. They were extremely beautiful. I was so excited that I called my Auntie to see (at the time, she could not see them). But she understood, and she was also very excited. In the ensuing period of time, I lived every day happily with the accompaniment of the many invisible Faluns.

One year later I went to school, and Auntie moved. Because there were no adults to teach me, I did not understand what treasures I had, and I let go of cultivation.

On July 20, 1999, the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong. Auntie was illegally arrested by the local police station and detained for 20 days. Her family members did not permit her to continue practicing. But Auntie firmly persisted, and patiently clarified the truth to them.

In these years of persecution, Auntie has sometimes been sad; she had gone through many hardships, but yet today she has still has not given up.

During those times, I did not study the Fa, or do the exercises, but I still followed what Teacher taught. I put "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in my heart. Many times in my dreams, Teacher would still point things out to me.

One night I went outside to enjoy the cool air and to look at the stars. In an instant, all the stars turned to beautiful Faluns of different colors and sizes.

Another time, I dreamed that Auntie and I were both on an airplane. I suddenly fell down. Right when I was about to hit the ground, Auntie used something (I don't remember exactly what it was) that saved me and brought me back. And then we both flew away. As we flew away at that time, in the far away mountains, two dragons flew by. After I woke up, my Auntie interpreted the dream. "You haven't been diligent in your cultivation. You did not study the Fa, so you fell from a higher level." But Auntie still saved me at the last moment.
