I Met a Young Practitioner on the Road

At 5:00 p.m. on June 24, I heard a boy's voice as I approached a T-intersection: "Don't throw watermelon rind on the road. People will fall if they step on it." He then picked up the watermelon rind and carefully put it into a small pit on the roadside. I walked closer and found that I knew him. He is a young practitioner whom I met before, and he is only five years old. His parents both practice Falun Gong. He was playing with three other youngsters, and one of them threw the watermelon rind on the road when they finished eating it. The glory of Falun Gong's "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" radiated from the young practitioner.

Lingling Corrected Herself Knowing that She was Wrong, Since She Knows the Facts of Dafa

Right after the Chinese New Year Festival, practitioner Ms. Wu found the words she wrote in chalk on the wall - "Falun Gong is Good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good" - were altered by someone by adding a "not" before the "good," and it happened repeatedly. She asked her grade school son if he knew who did it. He said his classmate Lingling (fictitious name) did it. Ms. Wu asked him to invite Lingling to their house, and asked her why she altered those words. She denied that she did it. Ms. Wu told her that all practitioners are nice people and told her the principle of good being rewarded with good and bad being punished with bad. Ms. Wu also told her that if she did not do it, to please tell these principles to the person who did it, if she knew the person, and ask him not to do it again.

The school had a field trip to a park on June 6, the children's day. When she was crossing a lawn, Lingling fell accidentally and hurt her wrist badly. After they examined her in a hospital, they found that her wrist bone was fractured. They put a cast over her wrist, preventing her from using her right hand.

A couple of weeks later, Lingling went to Ms. Wu's house and said: "Ms. Wu, I was wrong. It was me who altered the words last time. I did not think that I was going to be punished. What shall I do now?" Ms. Wu said, "It will be fine as long as you know what you did was wrong. First you need to go and erase the words that you added. Then I will give you an information package. You should go and tell your friends your experience."

Lingling went to find a mop and erased the "not" and all other words she added to desecrate Dafa. She took the Dafa information with her to the school the next day, and told her classmates her own experiences. She told them that contrary to what the teacher had said, all practitioners were nice people. The students should no longer be deceived, and that she would not have been punished if she did not do bad things against Falun Gong.
