Practicing Falun Dafa Relieved My Husband's Leukemia

(Clearwisdom.net) My husband contracted leukemia in January 2003. He went to many hospitals and visited many doctors. His medical treatment consumed all of our savings. We had borrowed so much money that, in the end, no one was willing to lend us any more. My oldest daughter is in the second grade. Her classmates chipped in to cover her tuition, and the school exempted her from other school-related expenses. My younger daughter is only one and a half years old. My husband's life was maintained on a day-to-day basis.

To make ends meet, I had to sell vegetables, but the puny income from this was far from enough to support my family. I was deeply frustrated and depressed.

One day I came across another vegetable seller from my village and became partners with her. Eight days later, I found out that she was a Falun Gong practitioner and had been detained by the authorities before. I felt sorry for her and asked why she kept practicing Falun Gong when the government banned it. She told me that Master Li taught his disciples to be good people and to assimilate to the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. Master also cleanses true disciples' bodies. She said that she has practiced Dafa for six years, during which time most of her illnesses have completely disappeared. She then told me that my husband could become healthy by truly practicing Dafa.

At first, my husband was reluctant to accept Dafa because of the lies in the Communist propaganda. After reading several cultivation stories, though, he gained a better understanding. He started practicing the Falun Gong exercises and reading Zhuan Falun shortly after. When he finished reading the first lecture, he decided to become a true cultivator. My husband began doing the exercises and studying the Fa every day. Soon, his leukemia became much better, and his complexion turned from pale to rosy. I began practicing Dafa, too.

Now everyone in my family practices Falun Dafa. We are very grateful to Master and to our fellow practitioners. We will follow Master's guidance and do the three things well. We will clarify the facts whenever there is an opportunity.
