Practitioner in Her Seventies Given Four Year Sentence in Rong County, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since April 2005, 610 Office agents in Rong County have arrested 11 Falun Dafa Practitioners, including Zhou Ziping, Zhu Ronggui, Xia Simei, Xu Guihua, Xu Da, Xu San, Lu Guifang, Ding Qungeng, and others. The 610 office agents also ransacked over 20 homes. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Lu Guifang, in her seventies, was sentenced to four years of incarceration.

The officers arrested the elderly Ms. Lu Guifang, detained her and tortured her. During the trial, she made a simple statement: "I did not do anything wrong. Our Falun Gong is to save sentient beings; we did not do anything bad." She was given a four-year sentence. The forced labor camp refused to admit her, and she was sent to a brainwashing center. The authorities subsequently transferred her to the Detention Center of Zigong City for further persecution.

On November 24, 2005, villains from across the province held a meeting in Rong County to secretly plot their strategies to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. On November 25, the 610 Office of Rong County unlawfully sentenced Zhu Ronggui to 6 years, Xia Simei to 6 years, Luo Yuecheng to 4 years, and Zhou Ziping to 4 years. Xu Da and Xu San escaped with righteous thoughts after a hunger strike of 15 days. Ding Qungen was placed under house surveillance and became homeless in order to avoid further persecution. Two other practitioners were also forced to become homeless.

On December 1, 2005, practitioners Xu Yanping and Zhang Tianxiu from Changshan, in Rong County were arrested on the road. They are being held and persecuted in the Detention Center of Rong County.
