An Official from Linghai City Receives Karmic Retribution, Losing His Eyesight for Participating in the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Liu Zhiqun works for Bianfang Police Station in Niangnianggong Village, Linghai City, Liaoning Province. He has always been involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. In November of 2005, he felt his eyes could not open, his sight decreased dramatically and he lost his vision within a few days. He was diagnosed with optic nerve necrosis at a Beijing hospital. What he experienced was as if a black shadow descended from the heavens to cover his eyes and stop him from monitoring the good people who practice Falun Gong.

Falun Gong practitioners never gloat over others' misfortune but always clarify the truth of Falun Gong and explain the relationship that good deeds are rewarded and evildoing brings retribution. The practitioners tell people this in order to help those people who forget what is right in the face of self interest and defy the laws of heaven from suffering certain retribution for their crimes in the future. Lao Zi said "Reward for good and retribution for evil is like the shadow that continuously follows a person; you will meet with karma yourself in the short term, or your descendants will meet with karma in the long term." Westerners might say "what goes around comes around" or "you reap what you sow."

Under the brutal suppression of Falun Gong, practitioners risk their lives to tell others about the beauty of Falun Gong and the facts about the persecution. Are they merely doing so for the sake of themselves? No, they do it because their efforts can save people, and this is benevolence.

The policy of terrorism employed by the Chinese Communist Party is consistently executed from top to bottom. The head of the country manipulates the national propaganda machine to distort the truth and mobilizes the highest resources from the country's intelligence system, treasury and police to persecute Falun Gong.

Linghai City Bianfang Team and Niangnianggong Village Bianfang Police Station make every endeavor to persecute Falun Gong in order to receive praise from government leaders. The director of the Bianfang Police Station, Han Gang, the secondary director of the Bianfang Police Station, Chen Yang, and the police officer Su Xudong, employ society's vagrants to arrest Dafa practitioners. Among them is Liu Zhiqun, a well-known local ruffian. Under instigation from police in Bianfang Police Station, and with their support, Liu Zhiqun has always been a vanguard of persecuting Falun Gong or committing other bad deeds. He has never feared the consequences of his evildoing.

His family is kind and often attempted to stop him from committing the bad deeds. However, he ignored them, and actually got worse. He always volunteers to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and cruelly injure others. Liu Zhiqun illegally operated in coordination with policemen to send practitioners to forced labor camps. He helps to confiscate practitioners' property, impose fines and compel practitioners to be separated from their families. Liu Zhiqun also regularly harasses practitioners at their homes. He has stolen practitioners' money and possessions valued at more than 1100 yuan. Since he is monetarily rewarded, he has continued to commit even more bad deeds in persecuting and seizing practitioners irrationally and without restraint. Similar wicked tricks that disregard the law are also being used on local Christians and other religious believers. Liu Zhiqun has beaten, arrested and fined believers in order to take advantage of them.

On November 22 of 2004, Liu Zhiqun was seizing and harassing Dafa practitioners again with the police. However, they were in a car accident. When it was over Liu Zhiqun crawled up from under the car. Since the condition of his injury was not serious, possibly the gods gave him one more chance to awaken his mind. Nevertheless, Liu Zhiqun still disregarded the consequences, as usual, continuing to do bad things.

For this reason, practitioners advise the officials who hold power over people, who have always done what they want, and savagely oppressed people in Niangnianggong Village Bianfang Police Station, that they should wake up. The tribulation Liu Zhiqun met with is not an accident or a solitary incident. Similar suffering awaits those who continue to commit evil deeds against Falun Gong. All who participate in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners will receive retribution.
