Sweden: Practitioners from Sweden, Finland and Norway hold a Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference during the New Year Holidays (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 30, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden, Finland and Norway held a cultivation experience sharing conference in the second largest city in Sweden, Gothenburg, where Master Li introduced Falun Gong ten years ago. Seven practitioners delivered speeches at the conference, sharing their experiences in studying the principles of Falun Dafa and exposing the persecution. A college student from Stockholm explained how he began to practice. He said since he started genuine cultivation practice in 2005, he had a much deeper understanding about Master's instructions, "Cultivating your nature is of the greatest importance," and "Your main consciousness should predominate." He felt he had made major strides in the journey of cultivation.
A western practitioner named Yvonne described her understanding of reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She recognized that the book is a powerful tool to dismantle the vicious Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and save sentient beings. Therefore, she has been committing herself to promoting this book so that more people could be saved via resignation from the CCP.
Another western practitioner, named Sinikka who came from Finland, introduced how she took the initiative to organize anti-torture exhibitions in four different cities in Finland since early summer of 2005. She gave an account of how she searched inward when she encountered difficulties, before she found success in organizing the activities. As a result, the anti-torture exhibitions received widespread attention from people in Finland. She collected many signatures for supporting the anti-torture petition, and she felt that some of these people had been waiting for the arrival of the practitioners for a long time. Several visitors to the exhibitions told her they had never seen an exhibition as profound as this.
Another western practitioner named Annica, who started to practice ten years ago when Master Li came to Gothenburg, said she once went through a tortuous path and forgot she was a practitioner two years after she obtained the Fa because she did not let go the attachments of everyday people. Later, she repented and committed herself to meeting the standard of a Falun Gong practitioner. She studied the principles of Falun Dafa more deeply and established a strong belief in Falun Dafa. Finally, she got back to the right path of cultivation.
In order to save the Chinese people whose minds have been poisoned by the Chinese communist regime, a Chinese practitioner who lives in a small town in Sweden utilized the Internet to expose the truth of the persecution, but was frequently scorned by those who did not understand the truth. He persevered, and tried not to be affected. Consequently, a lot of people were able to listen to the truth and changed their attitudes towards Falun Gong. He himself also got rid of many attachments.
Another practitioner named Aneja who lives in Oulu in northern Finland explained the course of her cultivation. Before she started cultivation, she suffered from several illnesses. A severe heart attack almost took away her life. She had a full recovery after practicing Falun Gong. Under her influence, her husband and relatives also started practicing Falun Gong. Having personally benefited from practicing Falun Gong, she and her husband devoted themselves to promoting Falun Dafa and exposing the persecution in northern Finland. When the premier of Finland visited Oulu, she gave him some truth clarification materials about Falun Gong, hoping that the Finnish government would stand up and help to end China's persecution against Falun Gong.
Kristian, a western practitioner from Sweden, is a mother of three. Being a dance teacher, she has been involved in community activities. She composed several dances, including the Lotus Dance, to manifest "Compassion," one of the principles of Falun Gong. In addition, other practitioners made many folded paper lotus flowers. Their activities received warm welcome from the local people. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Kristian introduced the persecution of the Chinese communist regime against Falun Gong in China. She realized that the whole process is a part of cultivation; practitioners have to take every step well and righteously, along the entire path of cultivation. Practitioners also allocated a certain amount of time for small group experience sharing. Practitioners who live in remote areas or small towns were delighted with the precious opportunity to exchange and discuss their understandings with fellow practitioners.
