Slovakia: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Trnava and Exposing the Persecution Taking Place in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners traveled to Trnava on January 14th, 2006, a cold Saturday morning, to draw the attention of the people of Trnava to the continuing persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. On the main street, the sound of Falun Gong exercise music could be heard as practitioners demonstrated the gentle exercises. The exercises contrasted with posters depicting the cruel torture and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many people, in spite of the cold weather, showed their support by signing the petition. By midday, a great deal of signatures had been collected.

A reporter from the local newspaper visited the site and conducted a number of interviews with practitioners so that their readers could get a deeper insight into what is happening in China.

In the afternoon, the group adjourned to a practitioner's home, where a Falun Gong seminar was organized. Many people expressed a wish to learn the Falun Gong exercises and some came from cities quite far away. They all found the exercises to be very pleasant and refreshing.
