(Clearwisdom.net) On January 14, 2006, a cold Saturday morning, Slovakian
practitioners gathered in Trnava to raise awareness of the ongoing persecution
of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. On a major street, practitioners
demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and displayed truth-clarifying
posters about the persecution. The peaceful demonstration and the elegant music
cast a sharp contrast with the barbaric persecution documented by the posters.

Though the weather was very cold, many people still stopped to learn about
the event and sign the practitioners' petition in support of Falun Gong. Many
signatures were collected before noon.
A reporter from a local newspaper came to report on the event and interviewed
several practitioners in order to learn more about the ongoing persecution in
China.
The event concluded in the afternoon. Practitioners then went to a
practitioner's home, where a Falun Gong seminar was held. Many non-practitioner
participants at the seminar expressed their wish to learn Falun Gong. Some of
them came from other cities far away. The participants felt very joyful and
refreshed after they learned the exercises.
