Dafa Practitioner Du Shiliang from Hailing City Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances in Mudanjiang Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Du Shiliang, a Falun Dafa practitioner in his 50s, lived in Hailing City, Heilongjiang Province. At 9:00 p.m. on January 20, 2006, he died unexpectedly in Mudanjiang Prison.

On January 27, 2002, Mr. Du Shiliang and his wife were illegally arrested by the Political Security Section of the Hailing City Police Department. Mr. Du Shiliang was sentenced to six years of imprisonment and his wife was sentenced to three years. In September 2002, they were sent to Mudanjiang Prison. On January 13, 2006, Mr. Du's wife went to Mudanjiang Prison to visit him, and his health condition was normal. At 11:00 p.m. on January 20, 2006, she suddenly received a message saying that Mr. Du Shiliang had died at 9:00 p.m. on January 20, 2006. The detailed information is still under investigation. Currently, Mudanjiang Prison in Heilongjiang Province tries to forcibly "transform" Dafa practitioners. They do not allow practitioners who refuse "transformation" to sleep, and they stab practitioners with needles to torture them without causing visible wounds.
