A 59 year-old Farmer's Cultivation Experience Over the Past 3 Years

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 59-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from a village in Panshi City, Jilin Province. I am very glad to be able to share experiences with Dafa practitioners throughout the world on the Internet. I want to share my experiences and changes over the past three and half years since beginning Fa study to encourage everyone to strive forward and to improve in the Fa. I only finished two years of school and cannot yet recognize very many characters. Even though I do not write well, I have tried to write from my heart.

Before Fa study I always lived with the torture of pain. My body was full of illnesses. I could not afford hospital treatment, so my sicknesses got worse and worse. Bronchitis and asthma caused complications and heart disease. I had already arranged for matters after my death.

March 1, 2002, is a day that I will never forget as long as I live. One of my practitioner relatives came to see me and said, "If you have a predestined relationship with Dafa and you truly believe, maybe you still have hope."

Even though my life had almost come to its end, nobody wants to die, and everyone is afraid of going to hell. At the time my heart was touched, so I agreed to let her teach me the exercises. I hadn't had a real meal for several days then. I could not even stand up. I could hardly breathe at all. My relative asked Master to strengthen me. Finally I stood up! But before I could start to practice I weakened and fainted. In my mind I knew but could not speak, "Master has begun to care for me. A thousand-pound boulder has fallen off my back."

After I regained consciousness I felt much more comfortable. I said to my relative, "Master is now caring for me. You don't have to be afraid. If I die today it has nothing to do with you. Tomorrow, please come again to teach me the exercises."

Just like that, no matter how uncomfortable I was, I persisted in practicing the exercises and studying the Fa. Not only did I live, but my health improved day by day. Master cleansed my body by making me get rid of large quantities of infected mucus. Before that I usually dared not visit other people, as they might be disgusted with all my congestion. Now I looked just like a healthy person, without any visible signs that I had illnesses.

Before New Year's Eve 2002, Master again eliminated my karma. For four days and nights I had a high fever. I was not afraid. I told my spouse, "Don't disturb me. It is Master cleansing my body. Don't tell the children. I will be fine."

Just like that, on the fifth day I got out of bed and resumed my normal Fa study and exercises. Karma caused yellow fluid to ooze out of my face, but I did not pay any attention to it. A few days later, I had fully recovered.

Even though I began to study the Fa late in life, Master's kindness towards me is just too great. All of my illnesses are gone. My skin has become finer. Master truly picked me up from hell and made me reborn, with a new life. I cannot repay Master's graciousness, so I can only strictly ask myself to follow Master's requirements, with righteous thoughts and righteous actions, and to cherish every day in this world.

In the village there are lots of chores to do. I used my time for preparing meals and washing clothes to recite the Fa. I can now recite Master's article Lunyu and the poetry books Hong Yin I and II. My recognition of written characters in the past was limited, and it would take me about two months to read through Zhuan Falun. I asked for Master's help: "one read-through in one month, then half a month." Now I can read through the book once a week. This is Dafa's miracle!

When I get sleepy while reading I drink cold water, wash my face, or wash my head. After regaining my concentration I continue.

I can go out to clarify the truth according to Dafa's requirements. After seeing the changes in me, the villagers have correct understandings of Dafa. After the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" came out, I told friends and relatives about the Communist Party's evil acts described in the Nine Commentaries. Some of them then published their declarations to quit the Party.

The autumn harvest in our rural area occurred not long ago. I had not acted strictly according to the Fa. There was some laziness showing. Gracious Master again let other practitioners help me and correct me. Under Master's care and protection I did not fall. My life was given to me by Master, by Dafa. It is not for living an ordinary person's life. To waste time is the same as wasting life. We must cherish every minute and every second to do well what we should do during Fa-rectification.

Fa-rectification is approaching the final stage. What is there to be attached to? Everything is trivial; validating the Fa and rescuing sentient beings is what matters most. Nothing can prevent me from doing the three things well and to rescue all people that can be saved, to welcome the wonderful future, to realize my oath, and follow Master to return home.
