1. [Yunnan Province] Wang Lan and Other Falun Dafa Practitioners Illegally Detained

In July 2005, ten Falun Gong practitioners from Yunnan Province, including Ms. Wang Lan, 52-year-old Ms. Li Jinping, Mao Danxin, Mr. Zhao Chenyu, Ms. Zhao Yongmei, Tian Yunbo, Sun Yunji, Ms. Gao Hong, and Mr. Zhuo Lixin, were arrested on their way to Tibet. They are currently being held at the Kunming City Detention Center. Li Jinping has been on a hunger strike for over ten days to protest the illegal detention.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Chaoyang Police Station Arrests Practitioner Ju Ping

On December 6, 2005, personnel from the National Security Section of the Chaoyang Branch Police Station in Changchun City, including Wang Zhongliang and Gao Xiaoping, arrested practitioner Ju Ping from Changchun City. They tortured Ju to the point of death in the City No. 3 Detention Center. Later they transferred Ju to the Changchun Forced Labor Camp Hospital for further persecution. On December 22 they again transferred Ju, this time to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. The forced labor camp authorities refused to accept Ju because of Ju's poor health. Ju has been sent back to his/her workplace.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Teng Meixiang Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Meng, 38, is from Qiangantang Village in Taibaozhuang Township, Changyi County, Weifang City, Shandong Province. During the morning of December 18, 2005, personnel from the Taibao Township Police Station arrested her and extorted 8,000 yuan from her family. They sentenced her to one year of forced labor.

Between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. on December 23, officers from the Taibaozhuang Township Police Station illegally arrested 47-year-old practitioner Ms. Teng Meixiang at her home. She is currently being held at the police station.

Around noon on December 22, Gao Xingchang from the Kuiwen District 610 Office led some agents and forcibly took practitioner Ms. Zhang Guilan, a teacher at the Weifang Industrial Cadres School, from her home to the brainwashing class held in the school. Zhang is currently on a hunger strike to protest the illegal incarceration.

4. [Cangzhou, Hebei Province] Wei Jingmin and Others Arrested

Since December 2005, practitioners Ms. Wei Jingmin, Ms. Zhao Fengge, Mr. Fu Qimou, Ms. Yang Rongli, Ms. Wang and others have been arrested. One practitioner decided to live away from home to avoid further persecution.

5. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Teng Fangle Arrested and Money Confiscated

On November 23, 2005, the Political and Judiciary Committee secretary of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) in Linglong Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province colluded with personnel from the town police department and the local "110" police team. These people broke into the home of Ms. Teng Fangle at Oujiakuang Village in the town. They arrested Teng Fangle and confiscated her husband's monthly pension. When her husband reported the case to the "110" Police Team, officer Wang Dejun from the local police station lied and told the team chief that they were arresting a Falun Gong practitioner, so no one paid attention to the case.
