In a Few Words: Selfishness is the Fundamental Omission


(Clearwisdom.net) I have been thinking of an issue for the past several days: why are Falun Dafa practitioners being persecuted by the evil? Suddenly, I had a new understanding. The evil had manipulated the vile beings to initiate this persecution with the excuse of testing Dafa and having Falun Dafa disciples improve. Falun Dafa requires cultivators to attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. If a Falun Dafa disciple is attached to self and handles issues on the path of their cultivation in a self-centered way, then the evil could grasp that as the the biggest excuse. Falun Dafa disciples must get rid of selfishness and reach the standard to ensure the safety of the future universe. Therefore, selfishness is the most fundamental omission of Falun Dafa disciples.

How can we completely negate the evil's persecution then? What I enlightened to is that Falun Dafa disciples must solidly act according to Master's requirements, which means putting our every thought and action on the basis of the Fa and eliminating our fear, complacency, fame, jealousy, and other attachments on the path of the Fa-rectification, while clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. We have to get rid of all kinds of notions, so that we can reach Dafa's requirements with a pure, clear, and calm mind.
