As Long As We Persevere in Our Righteous Thoughts, We Shall Overcome the Old Forces' Arrangements

(Clearwisdom.net) On my cultivation path during the Fa- rectification period, I have had many experiences of overcoming the old forces' interference. A recent experience was particularly memorable. I would like to share it with fellow practitioners to help us become more diligent and advance together on our cultivation path.

On August 27, 2006, I visited a fellow practitioner for the purpose of learning how I could help with some truth-clarification projects in our area. After our meeting, I experienced symptoms typical of a severe cold, including fever, feeling chilled, aching bones, and so on during the night. I recited in my mind, "Falun Dafa is good."

At about 7:00 a.m. the next morning, when I was about to leave home and deliver truth-clarification materials to fellow practitioners, everything went black. I could hardly think. The next thing I knew, I could not move at all. Although I knew clearly that it was interference, a thought popped into my mind, "I can't go today. I will call fellow practitioners in a while." Next, my righteous thought arose and I started to deny the arrangement. I shouted out in my heart, "Teacher, please save me! I shall walk on the path Teacher has arranged for me. I shall deny the old forces' arrangements." As I continued to say these words in my mind, my body slowly returned to normal.

As soon as my righteous thoughts prevailed, the evil elements and interference disappeared all of a sudden. I immediately left on my bicycle.

At the time, I could only think of my fellow practitioners who were expecting me. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts, "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated!" I also recited the Fa from my heart.

"Send righteous thoughts,
and rotten demons explode
Gods walk the earth,
validating the Fa"

I met fellow practitioners without any further interference.

On my cultivation path in the Fa-rectification period, I encounter conflicts and aloofness from fellow practitioners from time to time. When that happens, I try to guard my xinxing and remind myself not to complain about fellow practitioners. I tell myself to improve my inadequacies despite the circumstances in order to prevent the evil from taking advantage of my loopholes. When I am able to do this, I do not encounter any interference when I do truth-clarification work.

After this deadly test, I realized that cultivation is a very solemn matter. I also felt the enormous difference between a man and a divine being reflected in a single thought. When my life and death depends on one thought, the first thing I must remember is that I am a Falun Gong practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. I must be clearheaded and guard each and every response and thought of mine. In the pivotal moment, I must be able to tell righteous thoughts and actions from external interference. To be able to do all of these things in the critical moment, I must study the Fa more every day. As long as I have steadfast faith in Teacher's Fa, I will triumph over all tests.

After this experience, I decided that I will never neglect any opportunity to search within. I have decided that I should repeatedly evaluate myself with the Fa and ask myself, "Why do the old forces hamper me from validating the Fa by threatening my life?" Through studying the Fa and searching for my fundamental attachments, I have finally identified the root cause. In the past when I encountered interference in my cultivation, I would always say, "I will stop doing Dafa work." As soon as these words came out of my mouth or these thoughts flashed in my head, a selfish substance was generated. This became an excuse for the evil to exploit me. Before this incident, I had never thought of my unrighteous speech or thought as an obstacle in my cultivation practice. This is the reason why the old forces were able to exploit this loophole. This is a valuable lesson for me, as well as for fellow practitioners.

Once I found my fundamental attachment, I decided to send forth righteous thoughts to completely disintegrate, eliminate and nullify all of my previous thoughts, speech and actions in other dimensions that do not comply with the Fa. Once I am enlightened to something, I should do it. I shall walk well on the path that Teacher has arranged for me. Teacher said,

"Doing whatever you wish to do, as long as Dafa needs it."
