Russia: Spreading Falun Gong in Arhangersk (Photos)

Despite its remote location, the people there also have the opportunity to learn about Falun Dafa. On September 9, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to promote Dafa and clarify the truth in a city in Arhangersk.

Exercise demonstration

Crowds of people were on the street throughout the event. There was a concert taking place in the city center, beginning that morning. The practitioners displayed banners on the street in the city center, distributed truth-clarification materials, practiced the Falun Gong exercises, and made folded paper lotus flowers. The passersby showed a great interest in the paper lotus flowers, and many people stopped to watch and make them themselves. The practitioners gave people the lotus flowers and Falun Gong truth-clarification materials and thus introduced them to Falun Gong--a cultivation way from China that is loved by people all over the world. The practitioners also told how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally persecutes the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners.

People listened attentively, asked for truth-clarification materials, and expressed their thanks to Falun Gong practitioners for holding the event. They all wished the practitioners success in their efforts to call for an end to the persecution.

The peaceful exercise demonstration showed the grace of Dafa. Many people stopped to watch and some of them even joined the practitioners to learn the exercises.
