Our Group Effort in Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts and Clarifying the Truth with Wisdom

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a Dafa practitioner from Mainland China. With other practitioners' help, I set up a center to distribute truth-clarifying materials. In the past year, we went through all kinds of difficulties. Faced with serious shortages of manpower, materials and money, we were able to survive only because Teacher helped us. With the group's effort, we successfully distributed truth-clarifying materials to many people. In the meantime, we also went out to clarify the truth face to face in public. We would like to share our experiences here.

I encountered many difficulties when I first started telling people the true situation of Falun Gong. Practitioners had spent time and effort to make truth clarification materials; however, as soon as I distributed them, someone would immediately report me to the police. Soon after that, agents from the 610 Office would come to destroy the materials. Our truth-clarification materials failed to have much impact. Once, when another practitioner and I clarified the truth face to face to people, someone even threatened to report us to the police.

Faced with such a difficult situation, I read an article on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. It made me realize something important: I should send forth righteous thoughts while clarifying the truth! In the past when I had gone into luxury apartment buildings, I would simply leave the materials by the iron gate outside, since the entrances were always locked. But this was not effective at all. The next times I went out to distribute materials, on my way there, I would send forth righteous thoughts. Hence, every time I went there, there would always be someone who would open the gate for me, probably thinking I was looking for someone. I would walk up the stairs and leave the materials by the apartment doors. People could then take the materials inside and read them carefully.

Once at a wedding I told my relatives sitting at the same table with me the truth of Falun Gong. Suddenly, a policeman came and sat down at a table next to mine. I started to become afraid, but it lasted only a few seconds. Immediately I remembered that I am a Dafa practitioner and was doing the most righteous thing on earth. Besides, evil cannot triumph over good. What was I afraid of? I sent forth righteous thoughts for a while. I continued telling the people the truth of Dafa in a matter-of-fact way. The policeman occasionally smiled at me. He left without saying a word.

My other experience is that we should be flexible, take stock of a particular location and people, and clarify the truth accordingly. I come from a small town in the north and often go back to my village to clarify the truth to the people there. I would use some simple words or colloquialisms to clarify the truth to the villagers, so that they would understand. While clarifying the truth to the people in the city, I would take into consideration their ages, gender and careers. I would start with something easy for them to accept, and then I would gradually move to more deeper issues. For those who are young and have a higher academic degree, I would start with comments on social problems, and the corruption of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). For older people with less education, I would talk about health and life's security problems. With engineers, I would discuss with them issues such as the limits of human science and pre-historic civilization. With people I know, I would talk frankly about their quitting their membership in the CCP; while with new acquaintances, I would begin from something that interests them.

One day I met a fellow from my hometown. I started telling him about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Before I could tell him much he said, "Don't tell me this." Then he left quickly. I did not want to give up easily. Although he refused to let me tell him detailed information, I knew that I should still do my best to offer him salvation. Afterwards, I found him again and gave him a card with a message about quitting the CCP. I didn't think he would, but he put it in his pocket. I used this opportunity to tell him, "The heavens want change. Nobody can stop it. Have you heard? In Pingtang County, Guizhou Province, people found a one hundred-million-year-old rock on which someone had carved these six words, 'Chinese Communist Party will die.' In the future, you won't regret having quit the CCP." He murmured, "Let me think about it." Since I saw the hope in him, I believed that I should completely help him to withdraw from the CCP. Hence, I went to his home several times afterwards. He is not the only one in his family who has quit the CCP. He also convinced his son, who quit the CCP Youth League.

In our city there are two apartment complexes for government employees. When we went there to distribute Falun Gong materials, we would leave the announcement of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, facts about the persecution, and information of the incidents of our city's 610 Office's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the center area of the residential complexes. That way, those who were working in the local Political and Legal Bureau, in the 610 Office and the police station, as well as their family members and neighbors, would have a chance to see the materials. As a result, their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has decreased.

I know that the merchants at the wholesale market thought primarily about making money. But they also have suffered from CCP oppression. I tried to persuade them to withdraw from the CCP. "You know that the Bureau of Commerce and Taxes only worries about how to get more money from you. It is so meaningless to follow the CCP now. Why not quit?" Many people did exactly that!

The above is a rough account of my experience in truth-clarification. I hope that other practitioners will use it as an example. Please, utilize even more patience and wisdom to clarify the truth to people in order to offer them salvation.
