The head of Emeishan City's 610 Office Song Cun is the individual who is mainly responsible for the death of Ms. Guo Qirong, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Emeishan City. Her death seems to have been caused by poison. There were no wounds found on her body. However, after she was cremated, some of her bones were found to be red.

The warrant to search Ms. Guo Qirong's home was issued by Di Xueqing, the head of the Emeishan National Security Division. Song Cun was also there during the searching of the house.

Police suspected Ms. Guo while investigating the death of practitioner Zhang Zhuo, who died due to persecution in July 2002 for exposing the CCP's crimes through the Internet. Therefore, the police arrested her and searched her home. Ms. Guo had previously talked to others about government officials and the police suspecting her.

Ms. Guo was arrested in mid-August of 2002 and then sentenced to four years of forced labor in October 2002. Before being sent to the forced labor camp, she was detained at the Emeishan Detention Center. Ms. Guo wrote an appeal letter and asked the police to deliver it to related officials. On December 5, 2002, her appeal letter was published on the Internet. On December 18, 2002, she was sent to the Longquanba Forced Labor Camp in Chengdu City. However, the next day she was found dead.

The Clearwisdom/Minghui website previously reported that Mr. Guo Qiyuan died when he fell from the fifth floor of the Jilin Police Department building while trying to escape with handcuffs on. Here is some additional information.

Mr. Guo Qiyuan used to be a director at the Yangcha Police Station, Ji'an City and later lived in Jilin City, Jilin Province. He was a practitioner who benefited from cultivating Falun Dafa. At the end of 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was detained in Ji'an City. The 610 Office and the Party Political Committee forced him to quit the police force and he had to go back to his hometown of Jilin City. Later he was sentenced to two years of forced labor for clarifying the truth, and was detained in Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp, Jilin City.

On March 4, 2002, Mr. Guo was arrested by four to five plain-clothed policemen from the Jilin Police Department. He was detained and interrogated on the fifth floor of the police department building. When his family members came to see him, he had already been found dead lying on the ground. However, there was no blood on his body. The family was told that he "jumped down from the fifth floor to commit suicide."
