Two Bone Fractures, Two Very Different Results

(Clearwisdom.net) During heavy snow on November 27, 1987, I slipped going down some stairs. I dislocated and fractured my femur and was hospitalized.

The doctor decided to treat this with traction. First he drilled through my right heel, put a wire through it, and then strung six 50-kilogram steelyard weights on it. He did this to immobilize the injured leg to prevent any accidental movement. One of the weights was removed each week. After 42 days all six weights had been removed.

Those 42 days were a daily exercise of living with pain--it was agonizing. Sometimes when the leg hurt I didn't even want to eat. I could only hold my leg and cry. When I left the hospital over a month later, my feet were swollen. I was unable to wear shoes and had to wrap my feet in cotton padding. I used two crutches and practiced walking in my room. This fracture was financially costly and I suffered through a great hardship. Of course, during that time Falun Dafa had not been introduced to the public, and I was not yet a practitioner.

I experienced somewhat of a replay of the first accident on January 14, 2005. By then I was a practitioner. The streets were icy and slippery. I was careless, and this time dislocated and fractured the left femur, almost in the same place as on the other leg in 1987. This time I was not afraid, nor was I worried. Because I cultivated in Dafa, I remembered Master had said that good or bad arises from only one thought.

I insisted on not going to a hospital for treatment. Pressure from family members persuaded me to go after all. I had an x-ray taken. After the doctor had seen the film he decided I must have immediate surgery to fix the break with steel pins. He told my family members to get 16,000 yuan ready to pay for the surgery. I only thought, "I believe in Master, I believe in Dafa! There is no danger at all!" I said that I didn't need surgery, nor did I need hospitalization. I gave them no other option, so my family members had to take me home.

That night in a dream I felt as if there was someone pulling my leg and connecting the bones. I felt a little pain at that time, but the next day when I woke up I didn't feel any pain at all. Everything was normal. There was no pain and no burning sensation. This made me experience what Master had said,

"Disciples' righteous thoughts are strong

Master has the power to turn the tide"

I sat on the bed every day, read Zhuan Falun, and sent forth righteous thoughts. Since I could not yet go out to clarify the truth, I wrote truth-clarifying letters to people. I stayed in bed for only ten days. After that I was able to hold a cane and walk. All my relatives were amazed when they saw this! They exclaimed that Dafa was so miraculous!

It is unbelievable that the CCP has persecuted such a good practice. Even sadder is the fact that some people's minds remain poisoned by the evil CCP's propaganda, and that they cannot believe and understand the truth of Falun Gong. Actually, reality has already proven all of Falun Gong's benefits to the country.
