By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Jiangsu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) A senior practitioner in our region began practicing Falun Gong before the persecution began on July 20, 1999. After 2000, she had symptoms of being seriously ill every year. The practitioner did everything well, which stunned the evil. However, the problem of sickness karma had been a long-term tribulation. She stated that no matter how terrible she felt, her belief in Master and in Dafa could not be shaken even when she was unable to endure. Her righteous thoughts were as solid as diamond, and so she withstood and was tolerant. Because of her righteous thoughts, the old forces could not haul her away.

On one occasion I shared experiences with this practitioner. She said, "It's so difficult to pass the test of sickness karma." She felt very poor when she was tested with sickness karma. At that time, she was unable do anything. Recently, I heard that she again suffered from very serious sickness karma, so I went to visit her. She said that she could not clarify the truth face to face. She felt that this method of clarifying the truth was too slow and could only save a few people. She could only go out to deliver fliers. I shared with her that if she did well the three things that Master has asked of us, her abnormal state would change. She replied that she was different. This time, after she delivered all the fliers, she came back home very happy. Later she had diarrhea. She said, "Let me endure, and the tribulation will pass quickly." Later, the illness became very severe. She was unable to see, speak or walk. When she went out, her spouse went with her and guided her, otherwise she would be unable to find her way back home. She sometimes falls down when she stands up, and so she lays at home dizzy and blind. I realized that it was the evil persecuting her because she did not understand the Fa clearly.

I shared with her my understanding about eliminating the karma. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the cultivation environment was more than just personal cultivation. Although we were polluted and could still create karma, we are able to eliminate the karma. We could also pass tests in our cultivation, however, none of these tests should affect our doing the three things that are required by Master. If something affects doing the three things, it is not an arrangement by Master. Instead it would be persecution from the old forces. This practitioner did not realize this and believed it was sickness karma that she should endure. Possibly this is the reason why the evil has continually interfered with and persecuted this practitioner. When one becomes aware of a loophole, one should continually strengthen one's righteous thoughts, and firmly deny the persecution. You should firmly deny the old forces and not follow the path that was arranged by the old forces.

After sharing my understanding, the practitioner realized that for a long time she had acknowledged the persecution and that she was unable to admit to her lack of understanding. Now she has a different understanding of sickness karma. During the visit, the practitioner said that she was old and all of her organs did not work well. I told her that no matter how old or young we practitioners are, whatever we touch with our hands will shine. How could a young ordinary person do that? Each Dafa practitioner is taken under Master's charge, and the phenomenon is supernatural. Our human notions need to be changed. We should eliminate human notions that have been developed over hundreds and thousands of years deep within us. We should understand everything with the righteous thoughts.

When I saw that the practitioner was fighting the evil with a human mindset, I felt uneasy. During the period of Fa-rectification, we should have righteous thoughts and let go of human attachments. We should understand every problem that appears with righteous thoughts. We should step out of the tribulations as soon as possible and not let the evil take advantage of loopholes. Master speaks with clarity when he is teaching the Fa. We also feel that we understand everything when we study the Fa, however human attachments may still be strongly embedded in our bones. We should become aware of this and eliminate our attachments quickly. We should embody a practitioner's righteous thoughts in every situation.
