Mr. Tie Zhijie Arrested on Mid-Autumn Moon Festival


(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of October 6, 2006, during the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, policemen from Chengfeng District Department in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, hid near Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tie Zhijie's home and arrested him when he returned home to cook dinner for his child.

Mr. Tie Zhijie was arrested on July 25, 2006, and escaped, becoming destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. The policemen from the Chengfeng District Department looked for him multiple times, asking people his whereabouts around his workplace. Kindhearted colleagues reminded his family members that he should be extra careful. His family members are being followed, and police officers hide near his home.

Mr. Tie misses his child very much, and wished to cook a festival meal for him but was followed on his way home. Mr. Tie called his family quickly when he found out he was being followed and told them to not open the door to anyone. He was soon arrested by a group of plainclothes police officers without any legal procedures.

On October 8, 2006, Mr. Tie Zhijie was transferred to a detention center.

It is hoped that practitioners in Daqing City and other places can help to rescue detained Falun Dafa practitioners.
