Some Personal Experiences in Fa-Validation and in Persuading Others to Quit the CCP

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a new practitioner who was lucky to obtain the Fa in 2003. Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I had bladder cancer and various other illnesses. After I started cultivating, all of my illnesses disappeared and I became a healthy person. I know that Teacher has given me a second life. I am thankful to Teacher from the bottom of my heart; my gratitude cannot be expressed in words.

Looking back over the past three years, the very short period of my cultivation, Teacher painstakingly taught me the Fa, and my fellow practitioners warm-heartedly helped me. I have gradually transformed from an everyday person into a cultivator. In understanding the Fa, I started from knowing nothing to gradually understanding the Fa and stepping onto the righteous way with a clear mind. As a result, I have more or less caught up with the Fa-rectification process in validating the Fa and persuading others to quit the CCP.

In the beginning, although I had not been a practitioner for very long, with the increased demands of Fa-rectification requirements, I quickly plunged into clarifying the truth to people. At that time I had not studied the Fa well, my understanding of the Fa was unclear, and my righteous thoughts were not adequate. All I had was my gratitude to Teacher and the thought that I should do whatever Teacher asked us to do. Thus, in the face of the persecution and the difficult environment, I started to tell the facts to people even though I was fearful. The results were not good.

For example, when I was distributing truth-clarification materials during the morning market time, I didn't dare hand the fliers to people directly; instead I put them on people's bicycles or in their baskets. I didn't dare clarify the truth to strangers, but only to my acquaintances.

In time I settled my mind and studied Teacher's Fa in "Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Manhattan International Fa Conference." Teacher said:

"So Dafa disciples should not be afraid, and they should handle everything in an upright and dignified way. It is the evil beings that are scared."

I also studied Teacher's Fa in "Teaching the Fa in Canada, 2006:"

(Teacher)" ... the goal of Dafa disciples' clarifying the truth during this period is to save people ... If we don't go and save someone like that, he or she will be weeded out by history along with the evil."

Teacher's words made me realize that as a Dafa disciple, I should conduct myself according to Teacher's words every minute and every second, especially when saving sentient beings. This is the best and the most righteous thing to do in the cosmos. There should be no fear. Having fear means my righteous thoughts are inadequate. Having fear is being selfish, which is an attachment that a practitioner should eliminate.

After understanding this level of the Fa, my righteous thoughts became stronger. I came to realize the importance and urgency for Dafa disciples to clarify the truth to the world. I also realized that this was my mission and a responsibility that was incumbent upon me.

Afterwards, in clarifying the truth, I used my own experiences by telling people how I had benefited from Dafa. This was very persuasive in convincing people to believe that Falun Dafa was good. People had fewer doubts, and it became easier to persuade people to quit the CCP. During the process, I emphasized sending forth righteous thoughts. Once the righteous thoughts were abundant, my fears naturally dissipated. For example, I put truth-clarifying material directly into people's hands so that they would pay more attention to it. I used different tactics for different situations. Sometimes I gave someone the truth-clarifying materials first and then tried to persuade the person to quit the CCP. Other times I first asked them to quit the CCP and then I provided them with truth-clarifying material. I did all of this for both strangers and acquaintances, for whoever had the predestined relationship to be saved. During each morning market time, I talked to a maximum of three to four persons. The results were quite good. In abiding by Teacher's requirements to disseminate the Nine Commentaries widely, other than disseminating the Nine Commentaries to people with a "predestined relationship" during the morning market time, I also disseminated it to my friends, relatives, colleagues and former classmates.

Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital:"

" People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to ... made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world ...appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things."

In the future, I shall study the Fa at a deeper level and recite the Fa, as well as conduct myself with more rigorous requirements. I will always look into myself whenever there are set-backs and continue to work on eliminating my attachments to fame, self-interest, and qing. In doing truth-clarification activities, I shall base my every thought on the Fa, save more sentient beings, let Teacher worry less, and be a qualified Dafa disciple.
