By a practitioner from Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) I was moved by the article "How to Counter the Financial Persecution from the Old Forces" shared by a fellow practitioner in the 248^th issue of Minghui Weekly. The old forces use every method to attack practitioners, including financial pressure, through confiscating personal property, imposing fines, demotions, pay cuts, elimination of salary, and job dismissals. By these means, they intend to break practitioners' spirits and destroy them. Despite these tough conditions, practitioners continue to validate the Fa. Even in the most limited financial circumstances, their march to save sentient beings cannot be stopped. Without complaints or attachments, they unselfishly save every penny on their living expenses to pay for truth-clarification materials.

Some practitioners passively endure the persecution imposed by the old forces, while others assume that the persecution is due to their own karma, and thus many suffer long-term financial hardships. As Fa-rectification period disciples, we must use strong righteous thoughts to eliminate any factor that interferes with the Fa-validation and we must completely negate the financial persecution the old forces are forcing upon us. I would like to share some of my personal experiences in denying the old forces' attempts to persecute us financially and hope others can offer their valuable opinions.

When my husband and I first decided to establish an information center at our home, the management office at my husband's workplace distributed a document about salary adjustments. Everybody would receive their salary according to the kind of job performed. Because my husband practiced Falun Gong, according to the document his salary would be reduced by half, which amounted to about 20,000 yuan a year. We realized that this was interference from the old forces.

We discussed this and tried to understand it from the perspective of the Fa. First we negated this arrangement with our righteous thoughts, completely denying the financial persecution by the old forces. Then we intensively sent forth righteous thoughts until the next day, when I could feel that everything had been purified. When my husband received his next paycheck, he found that the pay was the same. We personally experienced Dafa's splendor and Teacher's power.

A similar thing happened when my husband responded to a job ad and was hired on probation. Someone reported that my husband was a Falun Gong practitioner, causing him problems. We again discussed this and recognized that this was a form of persecution directed towards Dafa from the old forces. It was our job to eliminate it through righteous thoughts. Later, my husband was promoted to become head of the administrative department.

My husband's good salary, combined with my own income from miscellaneous jobs, allows us to contribute to the expenses incurred by the local Falun Dafa materials production center and still pay for our children's tuition and our living expenses.

As Fa-rectification gains momentum and the interfering elements are greatly reduced, the financial situation of practitioners is changing too.
