Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Sun Yueying, 59 years old, lives in the Futian District of Shenzhen City. She suffered various diseases including hepatitis, hypertension, cerebral artery sclerosis, and stomach ulcer, so she could not remain in the work force and retired early. She completely recovered after practicing Falun Gong.

A special agent followed a practitioner to her home on May 27, 2006. He broke into her home and confiscated some truth-clarifying materials and a computer. He took the two practitioners to the Luohu District Detention Center. The two practitioners went on a hunger strike for several days. The other practitioner was eventually released because she was in critical condition, but Ms. Sun was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. As he result of torture, she is now extremely emaciated. She is in the No. 3 Brigade, No. 1 Ward of the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province.

Personnel from the National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Zhao Wei at 10:00 p.m. on November 4, 2006. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioners Ms. Hu Guijie, Ms. Zhao Guiyou, and Ms. Liu Liping from Hegang City were sentenced to four years of imprisonment at the Hegang City Xiangyang Court. The three women are presently being held at the No. 9 Ward of the Harbin City Women's Prison in Heilongjiang Province.

Policemen from Heping Town arrested practitioner Ms. Qu Lianying from Heping Town, Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province, on November 3, 2006. She was sent to the city's detention center on November 5.

Practitioners Mr. Jin Jinzhe and Mr. Tian Xianhua were arrested the night of October 13, 2006. They and practitioner Mr. Yan Yaodong, who was arrested several days before, were secretly transferred to the Juqianjin Town Detention Center in the city. Jin Jinzhe was tortured and was transferred to the city's brainwashing base.

The home of Mr. Qin Gang, practitioner Ms. Liu Weiying's son, who is not a practitioner, was ransacked on October 18. Police confiscated his computer and took him to the city's brainwashing center.

A practitioner surnamed Guo, a primary school teacher, was arrested and his/her home was ransacked. Practitioner Ms. Shen Xiuju was arrested when shopping at a fruit market. Three practitioners were arrested that day.

Practitioners Mr. Wang Zhongfu and Mr. Cheng Hongyuan were arrested at the Jiuzhan Development District in Jilin City on October 31, 2006. They are presently being held at the Hongyan Hotel, Kouqian Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province. In the meantime, 30 practitioners from the city vicinity were arrested.

Practitioner Mr. Yu Changwen from the Longgang District, Huludao City, 41 years old, is an employee of the Zinc and Copper Company. He was arrested at his workplace on November 2, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Zhao Caihua from Huludao City was transferred from a detention center to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp at 5:00 a.m. on November 2, 2006.

Personnel from the National Security Bureau arrested senior practitioner Mr. Zhang Jingxue, a professor from Beijing Medical University. He who lives at the Mine Entertainment Group in Chaoyang District. It happened in Beijing on October 26, 2006, because of his belief in "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." His whereabouts are unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Li Yan from Shanghai lives on Jianguo Road West in the Luwan District. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor between September 2001 and September 2003, to be served at the No. 5 Division of Qingpu Forced Labor Camp, simply because she distributed some truth-clarifying materials. Personnel from her local police station and street administrative committee again harassed her after she was released in 2003.

Personnel from Xuhui District's Police Department arrested Ms. Li at home on October 24, 2006. She is likely being held at Xuhui District Detention Center at present. Her 80-year-old mother-in-law and her young son are left at home without care.

Policeman Zhao Yuesong and other personnel from Yixingbu Town's Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Meng Qingying from the Beichen District and ransacked her home at around 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2006. Meng Qingying is now being held at the Beichen District Detention Center.

Sixty-six-year-old practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiulan, a retired employee of Yancheng City's post office, was arrested at around 12:00 a.m. on November 1, 2006. Her home was also ransacked because she clarified the truth of Falun Gong to people. Someone who doesn't know the truth reported her to police. She is now being held at Yandu County's Police Department. To date she has not been released.

Four policemen from the Fuqiang Road Police Station broke into practitioner Ms. Cui Fengluan's home at 9:00 a.m. on November 5, 2006. They deceived Cui Fengluan (who was holding her one-year-old granddaughter) into going to the police station and then sent her to the Gaobeidian City Detention Center. Her granddaughter slept in the police station until her family picked her up.

20. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Song Cuiwen Arrested

Police officer Zhao Shisheng, the person in charge of the team that persecutes Falun Gong with the Changle County Police Department, led several policemen and broke into practitioner Ms. Song Cuiwen's home at around 3;00 p.m. on November 1, 2006. They arrested Ms. Song when she was doing housework. Though Ms. Song's husband doesn't practice Falun Gong, he was very supportive of Dafa. He was trying to load all the Dafa materials into his car to transfer them. Unfortunately, two plainclothes policemen waiting outside his house arrested him and confiscated his car. The police then ransacked his home and confiscated a laptop computer, two printers, and other printing supplies. They also took Ms. Song's expensive belongings. They returned several times to confiscate the valuables between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The neighbor who witnessed this said the police were merely a gang of bandits!

Mr. Song's husband, Mr. Zhang Yubao, has been released.

21. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Jiangbo Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor

Practitioner Mr. Liu Jiangbo was reported on August 20, 2006. He was arrested and held at the Gao District Police Department for about a half month. The police also went to ransack his relative's home but didn't find anything. They still unreasonably sentenced him to two years of forced labor.

Mr. Liu had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 1999 and was held at the Weihai City Detention Center for a month. He was arrested again when he went to Weihai City to fix his computer in April 2002, when police confiscated 2,000 yuan and a cell phone from him.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Baoyan is a resident of Xin Village, Xiadian Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. When she left home at 7:00 a.m. on November 2, 2006, a police car caught up with her. Two policemen arrested her and put her into the car. They took her to the Zhaoyuan City "Law Education Center," which is actually a brainwashing center.

Practitioner Ms. Li Bo, an employee of the Rizhao City Power Plant in Shandong Province's Huaneng Group, was sentenced to eight years of forced labor early this year. She is presently being held at the Jinan City Women's Forced Labor Camp. Her husband has to take care of their five-year-old daughter. After the truth-clarifying materials production site in Rizhao City was damaged in May 2005, Ms. Li and other practitioners were arrested. There whereabouts were unknown until they were sent to a forced labor camp.

Personnel from the Laishan District Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Tang Peiwu from Changle County on October 15, 2006, and put him into the Fushan Detention Center.

25. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoning Arrested

A relative of practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoning from Zhuolu County, Hebei Province, reported her to the county's 610 Office in early November 2006. Li Zhiming and Ban Zhiyong from the 610 Office colluded with personnel from her workplace and sent her into the Zhangjiakou City Brainwashing Center.

Someone reported practitioner Ms. Jiang Changyu from Hengshui City when she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in a village. A plainclothes policeman followed her. Personnel from the Renmin Road Police Station in Hengshui City arrested her the afternoon of November 1, 2006. She's presently being held in the city's detention center.

27. [Qiubei County, Yunnan Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Zhou Bo

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Bo from Qiubei County was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment on November 12, 2006, for posting signs. During her detention at the Qiubei Detention Center, policemen lied to her family, saying she was being held at the Wenshan Drug Rehab Center. They also refused to let her family send her money, clothing, or a bed cover for the coming winter. Ms. Zhou is currently being held at the Yunnan Province No. 2 Prison. In 2005 the prison forced her to stand still in the sun for seven days until she fainted. Once she was locked in a small cell for refusing to give up her belief. She went on a hunger strike for 18 days but was force-fed. Her throat was injured during the force-feeding and became infected.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Chunlan, about 40 years old, from the Wenshan District, was arrested on May 19, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Yang Dong from Chifeng City has been held at the Tumuji Detention Center for one year. The detention term ended on November 7, 2006, but Chen Xiaodong, an agent at the city's 610 Office, told Mr. Yang if he did not give up Falun Gong, he would be sent to a brainwashing centers instead of being released.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Liyu, an employee of the Hubei Province Chinese Traditional Medicine Institute, went to the Huazhong Technology University to distribute truth-clarifying materials at the end of June 2006. Someone reported her, and the university's security guard arrested her. She was detained at the Yujiashan Police Station, followed by detention in the city's Hongshan Police Department and the Hewan Forced Labor Center. The details are unclear.

Personnel from the Huanggang City 610 Office led its affiliated counties' 610 Office police departments and National Security teams. They staged a raid of Falun Gong practitioners between October 3 and 18, 2006. Eighteen practitioners were arrested and taken to the Huanggang City No. 2 Detention Center. They were Mr. Fan Guojin (from Huangzhou), Ms. Song Guifen (from Huangzhou), Mr. Li Jiming (from Hong'an), Mr. Wang Jinghua (from Xishui), Mr. Fan Zhongfa (from Wuxue), Mr. Wang Aijiao (from Longganhu), Mr. Liu Feng (from Macheng), Ms. Tao Xi'ai (from Macheng), and Ms. Li Rongzhen (from Huangmei), and eight others.

Personnel from Section 1 of the Wuhan Police Department went to Mr. Wang Jiaxing's place of employment, a clinic, and ordered the clinic guard to bring Wang Jiaxing to the security office. There they arrested him and sent him to Etouwan for detention.

Forty-six practitioners including Ms. Sun Yinghui, Ms. Yu Lidong and Ms. Chu Jinhua went to Tuanzhou Township in Huarong County to clarify the truth of Falun Gong on October 25, 2006. They were reported and then arrested. Ms.. Sun is being held at the Huarong County Detention Center, and Yu Jindong and Chu Jinhua are being held at Hurong County Custody Center.
