Finland: An Open Letter from Finish Falun Gong Practitioners to the Chinese Embassy

Dear Ambassador and the entire staff,

Greetings!

We are a group of peaceful Falun Gong practitioners living in Finland. By chance, we have found that in the Embassy there are many propagandizing materials slandering Falun Gong in both Chinese and foreign languages, and even a booklet slandering the authenticity of the Sujiatun Incident. What you have done shocks us and makes us feel very sad.

In 1999, Jiang Zemin launched a cruel persecution of a hundred million Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Up to now, Falun Gong practitioners have endured tribulations that ordinary people cannot imagine. Last March, the CCP atrocities of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for sale and then cremating their bodies to eliminate the evidence was exposed. In July, a Canadian independent investigation team released their "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China." The investigation concluded that such an atrocity was indeed happening in China. The report has evoked a strong worldwide response. Undoubtedly, the appalling atrocity is a part of the CCP's genocide against Falun Gong. In China, all human rights of Falun Gong practitioners have been deprived by the CCP. Their reputation has been demonized by the CCP propaganda machine. Because of its propaganda, those who don't know the facts have developed hatred toward Falun Gong practitioners. All of these aspects of the persecution have led to the deterioration of the living environment of Falun Gong practitioners. In light of the slipping moral standard due to the CCP atheism and various political movements, it is not at all surprising that such an atrocity has taken place. However, for over seven years, facing the CCP's inhuman persecution, Falun Gong has not been eliminated but has become popular in over eighty countries in the world. This is a miracle worth considering. With compassion, Falun Gong practitioners are clarifying the truth to the world's people and their uncompromising courage is moving numerous people. In this society, where people have freedom to obtain information, we believe that you too have the opportunity to learn the facts.

This cruel persecution is completely based on lies. In this persecution of innocent people, the lies have served as the worst, formless killer. The lies have incited this society's hatred and exclusion of the Falun Gong community. The lies have deceived the world's people into following the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. Therefore, it is distressing to see that you are spreading lies and hatred in Finland and poisoning the public. What you have done is already beyond the limit of your duties as consulates. You have acted as accomplices to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

In late 2004, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published by The Epoch Times. It has lead to more than 15,000,000 withdrawals from the CCP and its associated organizations. You must have seen and know of this fact. Just as people say, the Nine Commentaries has captured the CCP's fatal points. God will destroy the CCP. Good will be rewarded with good, and evil will meet with due retribution. The CCP crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong have made it impossible to escape destruction.

You might think that you follow orders, no matter whether they are right or not. However, whatever one's position is, one should not do anything against justice or his own conscience in order to gain immediate benefits. Conscience is vital to society. A person is held responsible even if he is forced to do something against his conscience or if he does it out of ignorance. It has been reported that because of committing genocide, a former Nazi's 45-year-old U.S. citizenship was withdrawn. This report conveys a very clear message: one is responsible for his own deeds.

A person who does evil might not experience any consequences for a while, or might be praised by his superior. But time will change, and your present outstanding "performance" in the persecution is very likely to be evidence of the crime tomorrow when the persecution is stopped. You should know that the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) was established on January 20, 2003. Its mission is to investigate the criminal conduct of all institutions, organizations and individuals involved in the persecution of Falun Gong, and to bring such investigation, no matter how long it takes, no matter how far and deep to search, to full closure. It exercises the fundamental principles of humanity, and restores and upholds justice in society. You surely know that Jiang Zemin and his accomplices have already been sued in many countries. This persecution [of Falun Gong] is becoming more and more unpopular. Although the CCP still looks powerful on the surface, in fact its collapse could possibly happen at any moment. The surging tide of quitting the CCP is not only a process of Chinese people saving themselves but a process of dismantling the CCP. Never tie your own fate to that of the CCP. Please use your conscience to safeguard your own lives.

Please awaken your conscience for yourselves. For those men and women, old and young who died tragically because their organs were removed when they were still alive, please show your mercy from your bottom of your heart. If the CCP atrocity of organ removal from living people is unable to awaken one's conscience, theirs will be a miserable life.

Falun Gong practitioners are not your enemies, nor were they at any time. The purpose of all our activities is to clarify the truth and stop the persecution. We sincerely invite you to have a talk with the Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protesting in front of the Chinese Embassy and to learn the truth about Falun Gong. If you think it is inconvenient to contact Falun Gong practitioners directly because of your status, you can visit Falun Gong websites and reach your own conclusion.

Finally, we again solemnly request: Remove all propagandizing materials slandering Falun Gong that is placed in the Consular Section and stop inciting hatred towards Falun Gong in Finland.
