Taiwan: Practitioners' Exercises Demonstration Welcomed at Centennial Celebration of Talin Elementary School in Chiayi County (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 17, 2006, over one hundred Falun Gong practitioners from Chiayi attended the Centennial Celebration of Talin National Elementary School in Chiayi County and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. The practitioners, wearing yellow shirts and white slacks, lined up evenly on the green playground. Their slow and graceful movements in the morning sunshine, accompanied by the melodious music, brought to the ceremony a harmonious and graceful atmosphere. The proprietor of a local photography studio exclaimed while taking a picture, "Wonderful!"

When practitioners demonstrated the second exercise set, the sunshine had spread over the entire playground. A practitioner introduced Falun Gong over the sound system, "Greetings, respected guests, you are now watching a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises. Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an advanced cultivation practice of the Buddha School and follows the principles of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance'. It consists of five sets of slow and graceful exercises. It was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun in 1992. In practicing Falun Dafa, one reads the book Zhuan Falun, improves xinxing according to 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance' and practices the exercises. He will feel unexpected benefits within a short period of time."

When the demonstration was finished, the host praised the beautiful exercises, and conveyed his appreciation to the practitioners. The audience applauded warmly. A teacher leading a group of students across the playground asked a practitioner, "The exercises look so beautiful. Where can I learn them?"

A practitioner distributed truth-clarification materials to passersby at the school entrance, to call on people to understand the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and work together to stop the persecution. The practitioner said, "Over one hundred million people in more than 80 countries practice Falun Gong and have benefited mentally and physically. Only the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, and it even harvests organs from living practitioners and sells them for profit. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party started the huge wave of quiting the CCP. The tyranny of the CCP is becoming less popular among more and more people. Many Chinese people haven't had access to the proper channels to declare their withdrawals from the CCP, so the actual number of withdrawals is far more than the published 15 million."
