Investigation Lead: Underground Organ Transplant Center at the First Hospital of Jilin University
(Clearwisdom.net) After the horrifying discovery of organ harvesting from
living Falun Gong practitioners and the immediate cremation of their bodies to
destroy the evidence was exposed on March 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association
and the Clearwisdom websites founded the "Coalition to Investigate the
Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG, also called "Coalition to
Investigate the Persecution") exactly one month later. The CIPFG is
collecting information from people who have come forward, and is calling on
people who know the truth to further expose the crimes concerning illegal organ
harvesting in China. We call on all people of conscience to lend their help in
exposing the facts of this vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners
inside secret concentration camps, forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals in
Mainland China. The sooner this atrocity is fully exposed, the sooner this
brutal persecution will end. Below is information that came to light recently Investigation Lead: Underground Organ Transplant Center at the First Hospital
of Jilin University -- Average Waiting Time for an Organ is "Two to Three
Months" According to a November 12 Epoch Times article, the First Hospital of
Jilin University is located at 71 Xinmin Street, Changchun City, Jilin Province.
The building was used as a military building during the puppet Manchukuo
government period. On the underground level, there is a dining hall, and the
rest of the area is used as an organ transplant center. On the center's bulletin
board there is a notice, "Average waiting time for an organ is two to three
months." Contact information of related departments: The First Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University The Organ Transplant Center: Original article: The Underground Organ Transplant Center at the First
Hospital of Jilin University (http://epochtimes.com/gb/6/11/13/n1519905.htm) [The Epoch Times, November 13] By Li Jie and Tang Mei of Sound of Hope) According to our information, the kidney transplant center at the First
Hospital of Jilin University is located underground. Organ transplants are
currently a great money earner and favorite technology among hospitals in
Mainland China. We wonder why the Jilin University organ transplant center is
located in a dark basement. Reporters who visited the center on November 7
confirmed that the center has a large kidney supply. The Organ Transplant Center at the First Hospital of Jilin University is
located in the basement below the No. 1 in-patient building. According to
insiders, the rooms are dark and hidden. There are 28 beds. Security is tight,
with special inspection and police offices. A reporter interviewed Wang Gang, the director of the kidney transplant
section, and asked why such an important branch is put in such a dark place.
Wang responded: "This is none of your business! I don't need to tell
you!" The center, headed by Dr. Fu Yaowen, has performed more than 2,600 kidney
transplants since 1999. Last year, they performed 182 such transplants. The
hospital is listed as the second most important transplant center in China. They
have plenty of donor sources and most of the donors are young people in their
20s or 30s. Apparently they have their own donor sources and do not need to
follow the national plan. "As short as several hours, as long as more than ten hours. Our hospital
arranges it, we don't know." A nurse admitted there are plenty of sources
for kidneys. Every month they do more than 20 transplants. Another nurse said that the hospital is building a new building for the
transplant center. It seems the hospital is expanding their organ transplant
business. According to the center's website, the center head, Fu Yaowen, is a renowned
organ transplant expert in China. He has performed organ transplants for over 20
years. The transplant team is made up of nine medical doctors. Patients come
from throughout the country, as well as Japan and Korea. According to an investigation by the CIPFG, the reason that Fu Yaowen can
obtain large numbers of kidneys is because of his wife, Sun Suping, who was
appointed president of the Changchun City Economic Technology Development Zone
Court on June 27, 2003. Prior to that, she held the position of president of the
Case Filing Court for the Changchun City Intermediate People's Court. Sun Suping
is well connected in the Procuratorate, legal and judicial
departments, so she is able to get leads on supplies of organs. This is a
well-known fact among medical experts at the hospital. (see
http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/8/24/77248.html) During the past six months, people were surprised to see the front gates of
the No. 1 Hospital Affiliated with Jilin University suddenly heavily guarded. At
least two security officers wearing clothing resembling police uniforms and
holding walkie-talkies stand outside the front gate and the three side gates.
They scrutinize each person entering and exiting the hospital. After March of this year, several people exposed the CCP's organ harvesting
from living Falun Gong practitioners. In April, reporters noticed that all major
organ transplant centers were working overtime 24 hours, in order to eliminate
potential informants. It may not be a coincidence that in April the organ
transplant center was officially formed. An elderly military doctor from Shenyang revealed that there are 36
concentration camps in Mainland China where Falun Gong practitioners are
detained. Among them the largest is in Jilin, which held 120,000 people. In the
Changchun area, where there were a large number of Falun Gong practitioners, the
persecution is most severe. The underground center at the No. 1 Affiliated
Hospital of Jilin University provides us with another lead. Investigation Lead: Changchun Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences
Preformed Organ Transplant for Worker at Fuyu Oil Field of Jilin Province Yan Guangdong, a worker at the Fuyu Oil Field in Jilin Province, received a
kidney transplant at Changchun Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences
between June and September this year. The source of the organ is unknown.
Reportedly there are also other workers who had kidney transplants in the
hospital. Since the Fuyu Oil Field Company covers medical expenses, there should
be a record at the company. We suggest that the CIPFG investigate the source of the kidneys for the
operations. Investigation Lead: On November 2, the No. 1 Affiliated Hospital of Anhui
Medical University Performed Combined Heart and Lung Transplant According to rumors, on the evening of November 2, the No. 1 Affiliated
Hospital of Anhui Medical University performed their first combined heart and
lung transplant. The source of the organs has not been made known, and thus it
looks suspicious.
