Mr. Gao Song Very Weak but Dongxing District Police Department Refuses to Release Him

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 10, 2006, police officers from the Dongxing District Department of Baishan City, Jilin Province arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Gao Song and detained him in the Baishan City Detention Center. Mr. Gao is very weak due to torture. His family members went to request his release, but the guards refused.

On November 13, 2006, Mr. Gao's wife and other family members went to the Dongxing District Police Department to request his release. They met with department head Bai Liming (in charge of this case) and officers Sun Yu, Zhang Yong, and Fan (given name unknown). They told the officers that Mr. Gao was a very good son to his elderly parents at home. He was also a very good employee in his workplace because he acted according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He helps poor students in society to go to school. His mother is ill with cancer, and his father is not in a good physical condition. His child is only one year old, and his wife does not have a job. His entire family relies on his salary and tutoring job to survive. Mr. Gao never disrupted society. His family members requested his release since he was innocent. The officers did not have anything to say.

On November 14, 2006, Mr. Gao's family was allowed to stop by the Baishan City Detention Center. When they arrived at the detention center, the center head said that Mr. Gao was detained in the Dongxing District Police Department. They went to the police department immediately. The officers said that they had the power to give the order.

They are all trying to escape responsibility. The officers all say, "We went to his employer, and everyone said that he is a good person. But we get paid by the CCP, so we cannot help it."

On November 15, 2006, Mr. Gao's family members went to visit him, carrying his one-year-old child. Mr. Gao had been on a hunger strike for five days. His lips were cracked due to dehydration. He was very weak, his face was dark, and he was fatigued. The detention center took him to the City Hospital accompanied by one of his family members. He has severe tuberculosis and liquid in his chest. His family member went to the Dongxing District Police Department to request his release. The officers said that the department head, Bai Liming, was not there, and he would have to wait until he returned.
